You are correct there a 357 revolver and a 1911 two of the must own handguns! And I would add that the wheel gun should be a S&W and the 1911 there are many quality guns available I have a springfield Mil spec but I am soon to be in the market for either one that has been customized for match shooting or one to customize.Comment

Just opinion.....of what I have read on Sigforum about all the problems. And, no I do not have any personal experience to back up my opinion...and judging from my comments about the Sig1911, it is unlikely I ever will.any fact or just opinion? I've read lots and it seems to be preference but all in all the Sig is good, not the BEST but a good value considering all the custom (non MIM parts) ((i think)) and things like the 20 lines per inch checkering on the front strap isn't found till more expensive 1911's.
why the brand myopia? why not. It hasn't failed me yet.. I like my trucks Ford, my guns Sig, and my Women.. well, alive is my main constraint.

Thanks All, got it... just haven't shot it. Took me 10min to put back together. Too scared of scratch to push the takedown lever past the detent. Got the trick now.. Oh, yeah, I lOVE the trigger.
