I'm suprised more peolpe didn't vote for the Surefire. I own and use both Streamlight and Surefire products but all my weapon lights are Surefire. There is a reason that the majority of Military and Law Enforcement Operators trust Surefire.

Just like there's a reason why H&K and FN are so "beloved" in certain circles? Cachet doesn't make a gun or light better.

Surefire is overpriced. Streamlight gives you the same quality.

I picked up a SIG STL-900L and am very very happy with it. Bright light, momentary, steady, or strobing and a laser. Super easy to use ambidextrous buttons...

I placed an order for the TLR-1 off Opticsplanet for my Glock 22C yesterday using their free shipping and 5% off all purchases discount (the code is MERRY5, and it ends Dec 14th) and I paid 97.80 total. It was the best deal I could find, and I can't wait to keep it attached to my Glock. Seeing as how I hear so much good stuff about the Streamlight, I might get one for my future AR as well.

Cali-S. Once you get your light set up, and you have a chance to fire a few rounds through your G22, let me know if you have problems. Some G22's are having issues with attached lights, including Glocks own lights. Thanks for any feed back.

I have a Glock 22 for HD and put an Insight M6X on it. I wanted a very bright light plus a laser for HD. I also have a TLR-3 mounted on my SW99 with night sights which was my previous HD setup. Both are great, but I don't think you can beat the 125 lumens and laser of the M6X.

I dissagree....a remote switch provides for opperation of the weapon mounted light while maintaining grip on the weapon without having to adjust or make movements with fingers to activate lights. Just a gentle increase in grip pressure from the strong hand middle finger. What if one of your arms or hands is incapacitated?? You can still shoot and operate your light with one hand in a natural grip. Just my opinion from years of practical application training and working in tactical environments.

Actually grip pressure is activating/deactivating my CT laser.

But again I'm not a SWAT guy clearing a building of zombies. I'm using a hand held flashlight properly, and using that flashlight as my primary light to identify bumps in the night. Until that bump is identified as friend, foe or a drippy faucet I'm not sweeping it with the muzzle of my weapon. Only once that is accomplished does my weapon light come into play.

FWIW with my M&P45 and my size medium hands I find that the endcap switch of the TLR-1 is right there for my weak hand without adjusting my grip in the slightest. But different weapons, different size hands and different tastes and to each their own. That's what keeps the world interesting.

Yes, have one on my CZ-75 SP-01, love it. It's staggering to me just how bright a single cell light can be. I was able to illuminate a target well enough to ID and shoot ~75 yards away. More than good enough.
