I hope I am in the correct room here; if not I'm sorry about posting under California Handguns.

I just wanted to take a few moments and share my thoughts on my first purchase online. I will NEVER buy a firearm from Budsgunshop.com or any other online store again. Man, I had the worst experience with Buds. Call after call for about three days and no answer from them. All I kept receiving was a voicemail message that said "the mail box you have reached is full, try later." I sent two email to them; no response. All i was sent was an automated email about 10 days later that my handgun had been shipped 2nd Day via UPS (I thought it had to be next day delivery).

Anyways, I'm sticking to dealing with local business' for now on. At least I can speak to someone face-to-face and have my questions answered. This was just my personal experience. But I will say this, I like buying goodies and Budsgunshop.com has lost my business forever!

Sorry to hear that. My friends and I have had nothing but great service from them. Did you call them during or around Thanksgiving?

Sorry to hear. But there are some very reputable online vendors, including Factory Authorized sellers.

I've you're interested, PM me for a few. You can check them out in forums and get other opinions.

That being said, I try to support local as much as I can as long as any cost delta's are not unreasonable.

I did call a week before Turkey Day and I can imagine they were very busy. I guess I am just venting. This was my first online transaction so I was hoping everything would go smoothly. I'm a pretty loyal guy when it comes to buying stuff ( I try to stick to the same places I trust). And you guys are right, a lot of my buddies told me to try Buds and they had great service...maybe i just expected too much.

Buds is GREAT. They are currently having some problems with their phone service. A couple of days ago, it was some problem with their web site. I've had no problems with them at all. Give them another chance. Great prices and great service (No OLL's to Ca however).

You know, if they were to send me an email today and ask me how my experience was and allow me to vent, I would actually would feel as if they care about their customers.

I had a great experience with Buds also, but I researched all my questions on the forums and elsewhere before ordering.

I would definitely order from Buds again.

It is the Holidays. Buds has made it amply clear to their customers that service might be poor. Not excusable, but it is the holiday season.

My transactions with them have been prompt and professional. They also have FFLs on file so I don't have to run around half of California trying to find a copy of a license to fax to them.

as for shipping, those are I believe the shippers policy but in this case they used UPS which they should have ship it overnight.

Unless it was added to the "list" very recently then it isn't on there. I actually want one pretty bad.
