Not going to be cheap, the first ones will land in August or September and once they are taking pre-orders, they will likely sell out for the rest of 2024. Does anyone know when the CA compliant HK VP9's are going to be available? I've been asking around and I wasn't sure how long it typically takes to get the stock once something is added to the roster.

What's the avg pre order price?

I put $750+tax on mine down in Sacramento. Pretty sure when it comes in the price is going to be over $1,000.

There's a shop with a price showing $1029.99 not sure if that's accurate or if it will change once they get their inventory.

Its ridiculous that HK is going to take around 5 months after roster approval to get these to dealers. Their loss. While some people will froth atthe mouth for an HK, others will buy what is available now including the newly added Springfield XDM Elite and the S&W M&P9 2.0, not to mention the P365 and Hellcat models wh9vh compete with the VPSK.

YOur annoyance should be directed at the democRATS running CA and the roster itself. Be GLAD that HK is modifying its product to accommodate CA and maybe if you understood the manufacturing/production line process a little better you might not be so "annoyed".

Tell me, if YOU were HK would you have started production on a product "made for CA" until you KNEW it was approved and actually "on" the roster or would you have taken a chance and invested tens of millions of YOU dollars in tooling/inventory for production of a firearm subject to the last minute whims of the morons in Sacramento? Would you have disturbed your existing production lines to make those compliant VP9's on "spec"?
