    FA CA320 on a CCW?

Hello all, I really would like to get an Sig p320 to put on my ccw. I saw that both Franklin Armory as well as 2AZone have an on roster P320 sold as an SSE. My question 1. Is it legal to convert one to semi auto to put on the ccw 2. How does one go about doing so legally, I have read some different things about doing some PPT?s to get it DROS?d as semi auto.

The easiest would be to get one for sell from the classified on here and would pay about the same give or take a couple hundred, but I wanted to support FA or 2AZone for doing all they do to fight tyranny.

    Thanks

Wouldn’t the pistol “registered” come up as SSE when they run your firearms check?

I don’t think there’s a way to change SSE in AFS.

              A "pawn-return".
              1. Go to a pawn store that deals in firearms and pawn your handgun.
              2. A few days later, you return to the pawn store and pay back the pawn loan.
              3. The pawn store will then transfer (DROS/10 day wait) the handgun back to you.

When the handgun is transferred back to you, make sure the CA DROS has the correct information before it is submitted.
              ^(example) pistol, semi-auto, SIG, P320, black, 9mm, 4.7" barrel length, serial # XYZ123.

Pawn-return cost = pay back money loan amount + pay interest on the money loan + pay CA DROS fees.

Quiet gave you all the correct information.

He forgot to tell you to stop calling the FA CA320 and 2A Zone P320 an SSE firearm. SSE stands for Single Shot EXEMPT/ION. Both the FA and 2A have been tested and passed CA's requirements for Single Shot pistols. FA and 2A have both paid their tributes to the state to have them LISTED on the CA Safe Handgun Roster.

THEY ARE NOT SINGLE SHOT EXEMPT/ION PISTOLS!
                  Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Or, maybe you can PPT with someone having CA320.
such as that person like your setup and you like his setup, but both of you are too lazy to strip it off to trade the kits, so you guys can meet at local gunstore and PPT to each other.

That is another option that will work nicely.

                        Hi,

I bought a CA320 recently. If you get one and want to trade (PPT to each other) reach out!

I'm wondering how this process works out. So if I had either the FA or CA 320, originally DROSed as single shot. After doing all the mods, I pawned it and gets it back following whatever pawnshops charges are, and gets DROSed back to me now as a P320.
The question is, what happens to the original FA/CA 320 that was DROSed first? will it now show on the DOJ/ATF database that I now have two 320s? c FA/CA and a P version? or will the FA/CA 320 firearm be erased and be delisted under my name?

The serialized firearm will show as transferred, but one of the fields will now show semi-auto instead of single shot. it's essentially just updating the record for that serial number to accurately reflect it at the time of transfer, though it will no longer be "on-roster," but will remain legal as it hasn't broken any rules making it an "assault weapon," or such.

So if we can sell the standard P320 FCU as a standalone part, can’t we just pull FCU’s from these and sell/trade then with each other? Maybe it needs to be in semi auto condition to change the info on the DROS…?
