There's also the SIG P225a or a1. It has a similar profile to the 239.

My buddy has the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield. Both he and I are large adults, 6'2" tall with large hands and the M&P shield feels great in my hand. I like my friends so much am in the market for one myself.

Ended up picking up glock 43 yesterday got 3 mags one plus 2 extension and a holster for 500 yesterday.

Bought some hollow points last night but like the feel of the gun I have held the shield and it feels similar to me. Like the slimness feels like it will carry easy. Hope time permits later I’ll head to desert to try it out.

My favorite compact is this CZ. All steel frame. New grips, and a few internal Cajun parts.

FWIW, I was CC with the Sig P365 for two years while I was living in North Carolina and found it to be great. For larger hands, the extended grip makes it more comfortable. Saw one or two on the forum for sale recently, though the prices were admittedly very high.

How about the Sig P320 Scorpion? It’s metal and compact. Or the Walther PDP Compact.
