The connector I spoke about was a Zev Pro. The ones in pictures have the two // marks but they have been coming with one / mark. Mine is the two //. ( sorry I forgot to put this in my post above)

Mine got here yesterday with my Tootsie Pop. I put in in last night and shot it today. I put it in bone stock 3rd Gen model 19 that probably has 100 rounds through it. The trigger pull is about 2 lb 14 oz and it is much better than stock. It is not a 1911 trigger, but much better than any Glock factory trigger I have ever used. It resets great and no problems shooting 50 rounds of Winchester 125 NATO through it. It was money well spent. I am going to transfer the trigger to my Model 17 4th Gen with a factory RMR slide because this is really not a home defense trigger, but rather a target trigger.

For anyone that already has the trigger - did you get to experience the reset issue that Johnny Glock showed in his video, ie., after several racks, the trigger won't reset out to safety?

I had the issue after I first installed the trigger, it worked itself out after the first range trip of 2-300 rounds.

I had a Johnny Glocks trigger kit installed before I got the Timney. Johnny uses Lone Wolf 3.5 connectors but with modifications.

I ended up going with a OEM dot connector that I polished with a 5lb striker spring and reduced power plunger spring. I am using Johnny's polished striker and plunger.

I am trying to find a stronger trigger return spring for this system to get the reset a little stronger, anyone know where to look???

I think the much bigger picture down the road is when this is refined a little bit better in terms of trigger shoe adjustability it will close the gap Glock is lacking in regard to a competitive trigger in USPSA and Steel Challenge games.

Unless I'm mistaken, the trigger is not illegal in any shooting sports other than GSSF stock divisions.

This Timney drastically closed the trigger gap with this so far, and now we are complaining about little things and our preferences, when the bigger picture is striker ignition is not compromised at all. In fact, one could even go up to 6LB striker (I did on my Open Class gun), and still have a 2.5lb pull.

I also already had an after market trigger housing with the travel adjustment. so I took up some over travel as well. Now I just need to reduce pre-travel and this will be just about perfect without the costly decision to invest in a CZ pistol.

I think that's the bigger impact for Timney.

Does everyone really need a CZ. Yes, it will weigh more, which is good, but the trigger variance wont nearly be the factor anymore.

I only own one Glock which just happens to be my nightstand gun.

So no, I definitely will NOT be installing the Timney. I can't anyway as it's a G21. C'est la vie.

My reset is pretty strong in a bone stock gun. I was even thinking of taking some tension out of the return spring or just making a new one. You might take a good look from front to back and see if you can spot any place where the trigger shoe or trigger bar is dragging.

trigger bar is dragging.

My bar is in contact with the entire length of the frame where the bar is straight. I put gun grease in between.

I generally haven't notice any return problems after I started playing with it, and have lubed up every spot where I think it could use it.

I'll probably get sprayed with lube and grease when I finally get to the range.

Received the Alpha trigger yesterday and installed in my G17 Gen 3.

Adjusted the Takeup hex on the trigger face to dial it as close as I could so the trigger blade safety works with not additional take up upon starting to press.

Constant breaks at 2 lbs 14 oz.

Now I will experiment with different connectors.

For those whom want a more pronounced reset, I could easily source proper L springs in different weights.

I'm new to shooting and even moreso with glocks(I've only been shooting since Oct of 2020). But even to me, the trigger didn't feel "right." No malfunctions through 150 rounds at the range, but I decided to ask the range officer what his opinion was after I ran out of ammo.

His immediate reaction was.."Wow, this would really stress me out. Take it out and send it back." He was even more surprised when I told him the brand, since apparently it's a well established brand.

I dry fired more when I got home, and at that point is when I noticed the trigger actually started hanging, not resetting after pulling. Would messing with that hex screw help with that? I'm still trying to understand exactly how the entire trigger assembly functions so excuse my lack of knowledge here.

When I installing it, I threaded the hex screw all the way in, as I assumed that was to secure the assembly and didn't realize that was an adjustment screw. I thought there was another screw for adjustment somewhere else. So would backing it out make things any better?

You should not be messing with that takeup screw unless you have an intimate working knowledge of the Glock trigger and safety systems. I would also use a dab of blue loctite on that screw if you have it on hand

Back it out until you have a little gap between the trigger safety tab and the frame when the trigger is at rest
