    Sweet setup right there too.

What about mags? Wilson combat? Colt? 8 rounders?

Its a great gun... buy it, you won't regret it. I have the TRP full rail and the Professional Half Rail, both shoot well, but the TRP full rail has less felt recoil and less muzzle rise bc of the additional weight from the full rail and bull barrel. After you break in the TRP, the trigger is pretty smooth.

Brand of mags won’t matter if the gun is in spec. If it’s in spec, it’ll run anything.

I love my TRP Full Rail but it took a trip to a gunsmith (Cifaldi) to get it there. You do get a lot of features for the money stock with the full rail. Chances are if you buy one it will be fine. If I had to do it all over again I’d probably just go with a Nighthawk GRP but then again I think I’m just jinxed on Springer 1911’s.

Safariland makes good retention holsters for the full rail and QVO Tactical makes OWB holsters with cool belt attachment and wrap options for it as well. I got a Safariland with black multi cam wrap from RDR Gear that I’m very happy with. I still have, and used to run, a Kaluban Cloak holster for the full rail + x300 which is nice but I think they may have gone out of business.

I love mine but to make it easier to take down replace the stock guide rod with the Dawson tool-less guide rod. I did and it and it makes it much easier to clean.

Love the look. Went to Riflegear to buy. Hated the cheese grater grip.

Ended up with a CZ 97B that I Cajunized for about less $$ than the Springer.

That stippling was a deal breaker for me. I was sad, but got over it.

Loved that guide rod for my half rail TRP. Before I got that, I would always use a little piece of paper clip cut to length, if I could find it. When I couldn't, I'd have to find another paper clip to sacrifice.

I use a FDE bladetech drop offset holster for matches or desert fun. Run chips or Wilson mags just fine in my copy.

First 1911 and straight pleasure to shoot out of the box. Trigger is remarkable glass break at its wall. I like the aggressive front strap and still running the sandpaper g10 grips it came with.

Funny you said the cheese grater, I actually like the G10 grip. [emoji41]

                              Speaking of the grips.

What grips do they come with? I see pictures of the gray g10 and black sandpaper ones. Mine only came with the G10 grips.

                              Did I get robbed?
