I shoot my 21 better than my 19 or 17, clearly bigger is better.

lol j/k -remember the parts tolerance are somewhat loose, so every glock is going to have a slightly different trigger pull. You do you. I want to work to be my best with any gun in my hand, not just glass rod breaking single action half pound trigger pulls.
If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

      My carry guns include a G26, G19.5, and G30S...and a G34 sits bedside.

      So, no G17 need

Look at the other targets at the shooting range.

Lets face it most people suck at shooting handguns and find every silly reason under the sun to blame the gun.

Oh its not comfortable, oh my hands are too big, oh my hands are too small, oh my pinky gets pinched, oh its like holding a brick and on and on and on.

        You just suck.

I enjoy my Glocks, but skipped the G17. I love the simplicity of the Glocks. For 9mm I went G26, G19 and G34. I have a M&P 9 that’s the same size as the G17, so I didn’t see the need. I have med. size hands, so they all fit me well. If I had huge hands, I probably would have skipped the G19 and went with the G17.

OP, if the G17 is what you shoot well, stick with it. If anything, when the craziness slows down, buy a backup G17. 2 is 1, 1 is none.

I have small hands and greatly prefer the G17

G19 > G17. I mainly prefer the slightly smaller grip. Most people here talk about the concealability but don't even have a CCW permit & their handgun of choice for it. At the end of the day, my G19 is my range toy and primary HD pistol. I rather not have them take away my other fun guns.

19 in car with 33 round mag.
                    19 for carry.
                    17 at home.

The Glock 17. First it was the the model that put Glock on the map. I handled several Glock variants and the Glock 17 feels the best in my hands. It also hefts the best, and has the best proportion to my eyes.

Have the 17 gen 3. 19 would be better for carry but even some of the sub compacts have the ability to have a full size mag and grip sleeve

I OC my 17 occasionally but mostly the 21

Why cut it down when you can get a 80% you can modify for that purpose and not harm the original. Then you can swap out lowers as you see fit.

Yes I know to build one you have to jump through CALDOJ hoops

But later on you can get an aftermarket slide and barrel to complete it
