I bought two 92FS' a couple years ago, LE trade-ins from J&G Sales. $329 each, no mags. Filthy dirty, but cleaned up nicely and shoot well. The bores were pristine.

Range gun I'd go with the 92FS, for home defense the M9A1 just so you could put a light on it, or an M9A3.

Really that's why I posted removable front. Been long time since I owned a 92.

Having a non replaceable front sight is the only thing I dislike about my 92fs.

get the cheapest, or rail or no-rail is the question.
Bought two new: FS, Inox, and one used : M9.
For look :Inox looks the best.
For shoot: All the same.
