If I heard the video correctly, it's only 3 guns.
2 of the 5 were returned for cosmetic flaws.

He also has a point about the ammo.
      Crap ammo, crap results.
I've fed 40 rounds of Aguila .308 Win through my M1A loaded. 5 FTF light primer strikes.
Fed 20 rounds of match grade Norma, not a hiccup.
Tried the Aguila in my Savage, 2 FTF out of 20.
'Twernt the gun, twas the cheap crap I put in it.

I'd be interested in finding out what ammo was used in the 3 problem pistols.

I don't believe his "less than 5" claim. We have seen as least 5 accounts of videos of them failing and credible people that would have no reason to lie, saying they have had the same problems others are expressing.

There, I fixed it for ya.

Colt has been in and out of BK since at LEAST the 70's.
Colt was near bankruptcy or went bankrupt numerous times in the early to mid 1800s, even when Samuel Colt ran the company.

It's a company operational standard based on heritage!

All that said, I want to see Colt succeed.

My approach too. Definitely will get one but after the bugs are worked out and the price is not based on getting the first available to show off to the Joneses.

I think I found the source of the disparaging comments about Hickok45. I've never been impressed by the YankeeMarshal and I believe this video confirms my feelings were valid:

ETA- YM is getting hammered in the comments section.

Well yeah....they hyped their remake and are selling it at perfection pricing 2x of comparable pistols.

Then add insult to injury their exec comes on and tries to toss it off as no big deal?

Of course folks are going to be ticked off. One would think that Colt would immediately say that anyone unsatisfied will get it either fixed or refunded 110% of their purchase.

Done, problem solved...and their reputation is improved.....but instead they try to mutter around.

Its not our fault.....We all want to see gun companies succeed....

Living up to the Yankee rep'. Someone has to carry Neil Young's torch I guess when it comes to bashing Southerners.

Gotta go buy some popcorn for this thread...

Meanwhile I might just get my '64 4" Python out of the safe and fondle it a bit, it's so pretty.

I'll play with my "original" pythons, never had an issue with either one of them.

Revolvers aren't (yet) subject to microstamping, semi only. Not sure where the Webley-Fosbery would fit in.

Aside from the hole and other "modern" amenities such as spray paint finish & cold rolled pins, mottled grey hammers/triggers and such, on J, K and L frame revolvers the changed profile slope from the rear sight down to the top of the grip looks like something even Vinko Bogataj would avoid. It looks awful, especially on the J frames.
