I would think it is because the Utility Belt they have to wear to carry all the crap they have to carry to do their jobs would be just too uncomfortable with another gun stashed in the belt.

I have asked many of them how they cope with sitting in a car all day with all that "equipment" strapped to them. They all say you get used to it?

This is only one of the reasons why I could never be a cop. Too much crap to carry around,,, both real and the General BS they have to put up with.

    My hats off to them.

You may know this already, but you can legally purchase off-roster handguns via Private Party.

Another option you might consider is the 30S. Although off-roster, they don't go for too high a premium.
It has the short Frame of the 30SF combined with a narrow slide. It's just a tad more comfortable to conceal in my experience, and holds 10 + 1 rounds of .45 ACP.

Love the Glock 36. But if your going for small CCW in 45. The Glock 39 45GAP is hard to beat. It’s only $2.00 bucks more for 50rds n if it Gets stolen or taken after a DS. it’s still just a Glock n easy on the wallet. Also police trade in are cheap. $225 for the last two I got. Free shipping n trans fee n dros. Now I would pick a XDS 45 over any 45 Glock only because how thin it is. Also a Shield 45. Now if size isn’t a issue G30 all day

Were you able to ship it to California, I see online a good price for one a police trade in. Just wondering if it is legal shipping it here to California to a FFL. Let me know...I have one of the Glock 37 and love that gun...had it for years now.

Mine was a PPT from a cop thru a gun store. $500 for pistol 4 mags and a Blade-Tech Holster.

I put Pearce GRip extensions on two of the mags as the other tow already had them. These make this gun much more shootable, as you can actually get ahold of it and control it.

This is supposed to increase the mag cap to 7, however the spring is so compressed that the gun will not strip the first round off the mag so really the gun is only 6+1 even with the mag extension. The real benefit is in the larger grip.

Note the extended slide catch, which comes from an outfit in CO. It is peculiar to the G36 due to the single stack configuration. also this gun now has a button on the mag release.

On a side note: If you watch Fox News you'll note how they are all repeatedly referencing Rule #2 and #3 from my signature below. And yes they got it from me as I have been putting it up everywhere for nearly two years! 6 degrees of separation finally prevailed!

Hopefully Rule #1 will prevail and the Dems will shoot themselves in the foot once again. Looks alot like they are headed that way. They pretty much over used and ruined Rule #4 by calling too many people "Racists!"

              Along with a G26, I CCW my G30S, the best of both worlds.....a 30SF frame with a thinner 36 slide. A good shooter with 10+1 of 45acp

Can ship to CA with no issues. Just do a Google search and sign up for emails. They sell out fast.

We are miscommunicating because I believe that you were talking about the Glock 39 n not the Glock 36. You can still find police trade Glock 36 non rail n there is no issue shipping them in. But they seem to be the very early models n it’s a hit or miss with them. Early models G36 aka V1’s didn’t do so great.
