If this makes you want to sell your firearm, you probably didn't want it in the first place.
Too many rifles, not enough time...

Gauging interest.. I'm seriously considering selling my brand new, unfired ca 7. It would include a new AR Mag lock kit, SBA 3 brace and an 8.5" MAS Defense upper chambered in .300 blackout. It would obviously include the original upper as well, along with the hard shell case. Again, it's brand new and unfired. If there is any interest, shoot me a message.

not surprised that prices are going over MSRP now but I paid $836 (before tax) for my CA7 from peppers back in June. Now they're asking $1099

Is it really a fun firearm when its CA neutered and you have to shoot it bolt action? Thats a range toy at best, not home or property defense, i would rather rock my m1 garand than a AR pistol with bolt action.

Is this the only way to build a CA legal AR pistol nowadays if you were not grandfathered in under the 2019 RAWs?

I remember buying my phase5 7.5' off the shelf in sac for $1299 brand new, bullet button, now it stays tucked away with its DOJ papers because im too scared to bring it out in a sea of fixed mag fingrip maglocked bang sticks they call ARs now in california

It's the only way to BUY a new off-the-shelf complete AR pistol.
You can not BUILD your own that way because it would not be on the roster.

The other way to obtain a AR pistol is to PPT or intra-family transfer it.

All the PSA uppers I have have been fine. 0 issues.

There are a lot of snobs that talk bad about PSA, and if they can afford it, good for them.

I buy what I can, and shoot it.

Get the CHF barrel if you can. Think they have it in 10.5 or 11.5. and check the gas system when you get it.

It is fun once you put an SBA3 brace on it and maybe a devil dog side charger! It is a flippin workout at the range, but that makes it fun and different.
Also, a CMMG 9mm upper with CMMG conversion mags, runs flawlessly. If you get a maglock and a dual pull ring takedown pin that cracks or opens the action
it is also very fun! Would it be better if I didn't have to lock it...of course.

Update Edit:nvm found clarity on this. Freaking difference of a steel vs plastic mag.

Did this fall off the roster now? I saw that the 3130-BLK fell off and when I looked it up, it showed the CA7 so just wanted to clarify

Did it officially fall off the roster or is it just pending the normal annual renewal?

What exactly did you adjust on the MagLock to achieve this with the Law Tactical folder? I want to do the same thing.
