I cleaned and lubed it. Not much improvement. I was definitely not expecting that type of qaulity. I was hoping for standard at least, like my build using Palmetto State Armory sourced parts.

I agree with you that it being on the roster is a great thing.

Am I the only only one who thinks the finish qaulity is subpar? To me, it scream budget build. Pulling the charging handle, it's not smooth at all. Trigger is standard with a heavier pull bc they used a heavier spring for drop safe reason per FA. The lower and upper is what appears as your standard off the shelf parts.

The box it came with is ummm .. quite large for it. You can fit 3 of this pistol in the box.

What you're really paying for is the work FA spent on getting it on the roster, which I'm perfectly fine and happy with.

It would be great if someone could post a video of this at the range.

            LoL

I haven't shot one yet....I was thinking it wouldn't be so bad.... Slow things down save some money on ammo..... Didn't think extraction would be a thing.

Note to self: get a better charging handle

Yeah I’m sure there’s plenty of other options but if you plan on shooting it a lot probably get something like this:

But for 300+ dollars no thanks I’ll just wait.

Edit:Well looks like you need their side charging upper to go with that bolt as well so hell no..

I might have gotten a bad batch, I don't know. It's definitely not smooth like my other ARs even cleaned and we'll lubed. And all of my AR aren't even that fancy.

aero lowers with 1 palmetto upper with phosphate bcg & gi CH, 1 palmetto with NiB bcg & raptor CH, 1 aero with tool craft NIB bcg and geiselle CH. I don't expect the FA to be smooth like my aero with tool craft NiB bcg & geiselle CH. The FA isn't even smooth like my palmetto with phosphate bcg.

The thing I do like the FA lower is it has a nylon tipped tensioning screw. Safety action is standard as my palmetto. Same with trigger.

What surprised me is how gritty it was pulling on the CH after it was well cleaned and lubed.

Hmm....Yeah thankfully mine is not like that at all.

                  Hopefully yours smoothes out.

Sooo, has the .300 BLK or .350 Win Legend been submitted for drop test yet?

Nice! Glad to see a video on one of these. I was at Reeds two weekends ago and was able to handle the CA7. My first impression was that it was a solid pistol and was just happy to see an AR pistol at my local gun store. I was tempted to make the purchase but decided to hold off. It was there last one and they had it for $930 if I remember correctly

Wow even Reeds is selling them. I was asking them about it and they said, not interested in selling because it was too risky. I hope other mfg will soon also introduce similar pistols.
