Agreed. The gun market has cooled down significantly on top of that, all guns are, and should be selling for less.2 things I’d like to gripe about...
1) Why would I buy your used Glock for 500 when the LGS will sell me a brand new one for the same price? True, I have to pay tax of ~$50 bucks more but I get a BRAND NEW Glock. $450 is more reasonable.
2) Gen 4 Glocks are not worth what a gen 5 is. Why would I pay between $800-$1,000 for your gen 4 when I can get a gen 5 for the same price?
I love glocks and I love gun owners. Not bashing anyone. However, let’s be more reasonable folks. Thank you.Last edited by Kestryll; 09-03-2018, 12:34 PM.Comment

You don’t need to be a cop to get a blue label Glock. Sign up for the Glock sport shooting foundation ($60 for a two year membership) and they send you a coupon for a $425 glock every year. And they have three mags instead of two.Last edited by Kestryll; 09-03-2018, 12:35 PM.my Benitez goes to 11Comment

I feel the only reason to buy a used Glock is to get a package deal. If it comes with sights you like and maybe a holster and if you can get a fair deal then I say go for it. You should be able to get a new Glock of $499 all day long. For me it not worth the hassle on try to save the tax by paying 500 for a used Glock. The DROS is $10 more as well.Comment

I've seen so many used Glocks that were like new in their box, from Gen 1 to Gen 3 selling from $400 to $450 or even less. I've bought a few myself.
Just last October I bought a 1992 2nd gen Glock 20 (10mm) with factory night-sights, absolutely unfired except at the factory, for $410.
Bear in mind, when they first came out in 1984 they sold for about $350 to $400 retail.
It's about the only gun that dealers will specifically deny buying used, and if they do, only offer $200 or less for them, unless it's one of the more rare models like a 17L or 24, or has some other unique features.
Considering I prefer the earlier generation Glocks, there is nothing that would entice me to buy any of the newer production models, and definitely not more than retail... ON SALE.
