    Already done. My initials are the manufacturer, we live in the same city he was born so it's (City) CA USA. And the serial number is his intials and date of birth.

      Nice job Dad. I always love the clean look of no roll marks and no FCS on the slide. Maybe I'll do one also for my son, my only child for a future birthday. He's be turning 10 this month so too early.

        Check out Sarge's exotic wood grips, an heirloom like this needs special grips and throw in the Frags for the tactical option. I've always loved the rich deep red brown Honduran Rosewood Burl grips. You can have the inside of the grip panels engraved with a special message to your son and your signature:
