I saw you did a great job with it. But I was actually thinking of doing the same thing when I was considering a round bob like that. I believe there is a name for it, but I can't remember what it is. In any case, because I had considered it, I was excited to see someone actually do it and that is where my interest comes from. I just want to see how it ended up blending.

That's a beauty. More meaningful than something off the shelf. I also admire the practical side of the gun. Melonite finish, good sights, G10 grips and built for carry. Wood and bluing is great, but not something I'd want to use very much.

Thanks for your comments. Its still different from the traditional bobtail, but just glad I was able to make it work with the regular bobtail MSH and still giving it the apprearance of the flat back bobtail look.

Those are classics to hand down!

It's awesome to see how many members already have Firearms lined up to past down to their children. I can't wait to load up to go to a range to teach him how to shoot and his face when he hits the center target!

When we have our second child I'm going to copy your idea and get them matching rifles.

Yeah I like the look and feel of the frag grips. I just keep going back and forth if I should keep in all black or order another pair that is the black/cherry.

Get it engraved per the regs. Use your sons name and the city he was born in. Serial number should be his birthdate.
