Or you could just buy a 34 slide/barrel/guts. Maybe pre-milled for an RMR to change things up

G34 is pretty awesome. Personally I decided to skip the 17. Have a 19 and two 34's and sold my 17's. I run and gun with them so the 17 really didn't have a place to fit in. The 34 is smoother shooting, and has the lighter trigger. That extra little bit of barrel length helps load development for USPSA. Can load a faster, softer shooting round. I have one that's got around 38k rounds through it and its still going. Its all tricked out now. Been upgrading that thing whenever parts need to be changed and its holding up well.

The 36...I get it but meh. Loose too much juice on a tiny 45. They're slow enough to begin with. But yes a single stack is nice. Good luck on your decision, haven't seen any bad ones from you yet haaha. I vote 34!

Don't fall into the "dilemma-thought" of which one and only one. Buy one first, then next month (if neither is a private party transaction) buy the other one.

        (For me, I don't have a Glock 36, but again, that's me. From you list, I've got two, Gen3 and a Gen4 in each, G30, G26, G19, G34, and G17 models, with another G17Gen4 issued to me.)

Why not a Glock 37 Gen 3, the .45 GAP?

Same size as the G17 but with 10+1 of .45 GAP instead of 9mm. Because of the CA 10 round rule. I am thinking home defense pistol.

I hate Glocks but really surprised at how the G34 shoots. That would be the only one that I might keep.

Go shoot a G34 and bring the rest of your Glocks out and compare. There really is no reason to keep the others if you don't ever plan to conceal carry.

I have the G35, G23, G27. I skipped the G22 for it has the same purpose as the G35. The 27 and 23 are part of my home defense guns.

Not into small and chubby ones.

A G17, G21sf, G41, and two G34s. The G34 is the most balanced, easiest to come to aim, and best shooting of all. That is why there are two of them.

How about an XD9 Tactical? Best deal these days (till June).

Glock 10mms are a hoot to shoot. Sold my G20sf, but do enjoy shooting my G29 with the Pearce pinky extension. On a different note, have you considered the G43, with a Taran Tactical +1 or +2 mag extension, for comfortable CCW carry?

Never a Glock fan til I owned one!!..now have two, G23 is now nightly HD choice, and a sweet shooting G34 that can, after 10 bangs make one big hole!!
Always a 1911 fan, and may be why i shoot the G34 so well... it feels like a Government model...YMMV

Yes, my mileage varies considerably! How can anyone compare a Glock (of any nature) to a 1911 Government Model?

Glocks are plastic, have a completely different grip angle, a completely different trigger, are striker fired, and have no safeties like the 1911.

Maybe you shoot the Glock well, but in no way does it resemble any 1911 I have ever owned or seen.

                              And, yeah, I am a dyed-in-the-wool 1911 guy.

But, like Burger King says, have it your way.

Same here.....the G34 is the only Glock that I've bought. Every time I pick it up and shoot it, it feels great. Don't think I even want any other Glock, since I don't carry. This one sits bedside....instead of a TRP, Stock ll, or CZ 97BE.
