I believe that CA is a huge market also. Perhaps all the 9mm variants will remain. But the .45 and 10mm are more limited. Any ways, I plan for the worst and bought a G20.

I thought they were supposed to be Honda Civics. And everyone else are driving Bimmers and Corvettes or some such....

And why should anyone care what you think about anything?

Not to irrelevant if a majority of law enforcement agencies in the US (nearing 80%) are using them. US military going to Glock. Navy Seals going to the Glock 19 instead of the Sig, etc etc

If you limited your choice to the one gun company with the worst triggers, then you'd be stuck with the Glock brand.

Easy to fix a Glock trigger.

I thought CCW implied compact... I was not disputing that there are many full-size 10mm options.

Those few models that are compact, are a very loose definition of the word compact; 2+lbs unloaded weights, and the G29 is big enough as it is, all of the models in your list are bigger. But they are definitely prettier, I'll give you that
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

i'm not a glock fan boy by any stretch, but it seems to me that glock has evolved over time. through the various generations, they have added a light rail, interchangeable backstraps, grip texture, and upgraded some internal parts as well. i'm sure I am missing stuff, but again, i'm not a glock fan boy.

someone earlier mentioned a webber kettle grill. they have kept the design the same, but have added models with carts, side tables, utensil holders, etc... while they kept the design the same, they also branched out into other similar products... smokers, gas grills, etc...

maybe glock should leave their kettle grill (handgun) alone, but come out with a gas grill (carbine) or smoker (shotgun)...
                    my Benitez goes to 11

Glock haters will only be satisfied when Glock starts making 1911s, Hi Power clones or ray guns.

The handgun is a rather simple mechanical device in relation to other devices like cars, planes, or medical equipment. There is only so much you can do with the concept that hasnt already been tried in the last 150 years. Most of the new innovations are gimicks (P320, Hudson, etc.) or just manufacturing and small ergonomic improvements.

Bottom line, its purpose is to fire a bullet accurately and reliably within fairly close range. People are acting like it should also toast bread or something. Its a friggin handgun for crying out loud. Its not that complicated. Find one that works for you and do with it what you will. Time to move along, nothing to see here anymore.

A 1911 can be a BMW(Colt), a Lamborghini(SVI), or a Hyundai(Armscor). A Glock can be a Glock- because no one else clones them(yet)- but you can still dress it up like a Honda. Some people like Honda. Low maintenance, very reliable, low cost up front, and plenty of aftermarket parts. The 10/22 is popular for all the same reasons. It's almost like people haven't had better things to argue about for 4 decades. I just buy em all and don't discriminate

Yep! A glock/honda is something I would use every day, because I know it'll do the job and it's inexpensive to use, maintain, or even replace. I won't cry when my glock/honda gets a scratch. But I don't go showing off my glock/honda for bragging rights, because no matter how you dress it up it's still a glock/honda. That's what a 1911/lambo/whatever is for.

I wholeheartedly agree. The trigger is an easy fix. The question is why doesn't Glock fix it? Isn't that what the Yankee DB is on about?

Why would Glock "fix" something that isnt a problem? I didnt know there was anything wrong with it in the first place. Ive handled a lot of triggers and the Glock is just fine IMHO. Its not a VP9 but it might as well be, I shoot it just as well. It doesnt take much to get proficient with a Glock or most guns for that matter. Ive noticed calguns has a lot of trigger nancies.
