a) Harley, did we not both come to the conclusion that I was 'handsome?' My feelings are hurt.
b) But, Thanks for noticing my soft baby hands - I try to take care of them for guys who appreciate those kinds of things ... LOL!
c) Guys, making those videos were a pain because I have never done it before. Glad I learned a new technique. I hope you guys got some entertainment value. If you did, it was worth the time and effort.
d) I apologize to those who are offended by my 'upkitting' my personal VP9. I figured, I earned the money, I should be able to spend it on my VP9 the way I want it.
e) The HK P7M8 that is a fine example of ol' school manufacturing and German craftsmanship. Sadly, it has been sold. I no longer have it and it's at a good home now. That pistol was awesome and so surprisingly accurate. It was a gem in my personal collection. I regret selling that shooter P7M8.
f) On a personal level, I was pleasantly surprised that I could shoot 'crappy' reloads out of my VP9 and still get precision groups (something some of my other 9mm pistols refused to do). Being a guy with baby soft hands but 'alligator arm' (as Mrs. Detroit has accused) - I like to shoot cheaply if possible.
I have a picture of the reloads I took with my VP9 - will try to post later.
Back on topic:
HK makes fine military grade firearms. I've had a lot of experience with their firearms and just have a renewed appreciation of the evolution of design from this company - Mauser to post World War II - Heckler & Koch, Gmb.
The VP9 continues this lineage from the original USP and Mark 23 from the 80's. I find myself attracted to HK products. I'm glad OP will post his thoughts on video - it will bring more comments and discussion.
Through this thread - I now know a little about how the SuperBowl Quarterback feel.

I've kept an eye on them in the marketplace and have only seen 4 so far. One was LE version and 3 of the 4 where in SoCal. $1300 has been the cheapest and is still available in Corona I believe.
I would like one but not for $1300 or more.Comment

Yeah but that's like ~$200 more than a black one and ~$100 more than a FDE. Worth it? Probably not! Will I pay? Hmmmmmm.
This damn Gun Collecting thing is expensive!

Yup, like some Italian guy did it with a file. The blueing is gorgeous. Ill probably refinish it in NP3 so it will look more like a bren ten.
The backstrap is a work of art.

Young Arms? More like Alligator Arms from Geico
How do your pistols shoot with run of the mill ammo? Winchester White box or simple reloads?
I personally love the VP9 because it shoots my inexpensive reloads to high grade precision.

***********************************
I shared with Mrs. Detroit about my young hands and arms. Harley likes my hands because they are so soft - thanks for noticing Harley!
However, the Mrs. thinks my arms are like Alligator Arms since I hate paying the bill when it comes. Hence my reason I love my VP9 - target accuracy with 'crappy' reloads! Those loads shoot well - you saw them in the videos.

Cheap brass reloads is all I shoot and my guns are still more accurate than I am.CRPA and NRA member.

Another Reason to love the VP9
OK, I risk fanning more disbelievers but here goes:
An additional reason why I love my upkitted VP9 is that using my standard reloads, the precision goes to the 50yard line.
Sneaking over to the special LE indoor long range next to the public range at THE Range Pistol Club. Using standard silhouette targets, I was amazed that I was making cephalic hits consistently.

(File Picture) This reverse (white silhouette; black background) shown on the public range side is the example of the reduced sized silhouette that gets consistent hits at 50yards! Hard to believe but possible!

Another reason why my VP9 is my favorite 9mm pistol.
It just gives me a smile when I shoot this little gem!
