Default Larue PredaTAR,OBR,LWRC,Sig556,SCAR,GAP Rifles,Professional,PistolsMoreGems

Choose Wisely -- Calgunner. Choose Detroit ...

Introducing an unique Larue OBR package. This is limited RUN OBR from the collaboration of Mark Larue and Chris Costa.

As many of you may know, Chris Costa is a controversial instructor. I had the opportunity to meet him and his mother and father at industry functions.

He's personable, possesses good communication skills and works hard at being a savvy businessman. Having encountered many shooting experts, I listened to Chris and he has a lot to say and it makes sense to me.

One topic was how the Larue/Costa Ludus Rifle came to being ...

As you know, Chris Costa runs some high end shooting courses. He brings to his classes some remarkable firearms. One of these is his carbine selection. Oftentimes, students have guns go down and Chris will let them shoot his. Inevitably, the discussion gravitates to 'how does one get the same gun' as the guy with the kevlar beard?

So comes the collaboration of Mark Larue. Larue is reknown for making overengineered products -- especially his OBR rifles. Costa and Larue came up with a rifle that is a hybrid to take advantage of the pluses and minimize the negatives. They took the PredaTAR lightweight carbine platform in 556 and placed a heavy OBR barrel. This stiff barrel has proven itself with precise groups because it has repeatable harmonics. The main point was to produce a carbine that would run and run in rigorous carbine courses such as Costa's and not suffer embarrassment or worse -- loss of life.

Some of the features include the 14.5 inch 556 match grade barrel with the SureFire compensator and suppressor adaptor -- pinned and welded to avoid NFA SBR registration. It does what most long barrels will out to 500yrds do but be handy enough for CQB usage.

The rail is lightened and has 0 degree cant.
It also have the crisp Geiselle trigger.
Simple in design -- fully functional and no frills.
It is intended to be 'kitted' up by each owner.

Each rifle has meticulous care in manufacturing and assembly so it stays up and running in adverse conditions and heavy sustained fire.

Each rifle is serialized and there is a limited run. This one is in the 200's.

------------------------

So, I've had several OBRs in the recent past. They are just phenomenal rifles. This particular one has a larger test target group than I expected. Because this rifle has already been test fired. So I thought: Why doesn't Detroit get behind this particular rifle with some Fed Match ammo and try a 5 shot group? Well I did. It's extremely accurate. Extremely mild recoilling and the SureFire brake was remarkably muffled. It was a pleasure to shoot and the felt impulse was gentle and not abrupt. Looking at my group, The first cold bore shot was slightly low. The rest of the impacts clustered around each other -- a picture is worth a thousand words. I did better than the factory target. Then again, I'm Detroit! LOL!

Like most things Costa touches, it turns into gold. For this rifle it's FDE cerokote Gold!

I am asking for a premium but Detroit has concierge service! This is only for the serious AR aficionado and I know it's expensive.
Please PM me for comments or questions. Please don't post on my Ad!

Default *SPF* GAP 308 Bolt Rifle -- Absolute Laser *SPF*

It took me years to decide to list this absolute laser/hammer of a rifle.

-GA Precision 308 Precision Tactical rifle in 308, based from Remington 700
Fully trued and blueprinted

-Desert Camou Cerakote, McMillian Bedded A4 adjustable cheek rest stock

-Krieger 24 inch 1:10 Heavy contour barrel

-Badger Ordinance 20MOA mount and tactical bolt

-Leupold Mark 4 30mm rings

-NightForce NXS Tactical Scope: 5.5x22x56mm with flip up covers

-I use this rifle to test fire precision ammo. If it won't shoot in this rifle, the ammo is no good. It shoot pretty much all quality ammo with absolute precision. I can reliably predict impact points with this rifle. It's that confidence inspiring! When you shoot it; it's very "Solid" like how a AMG S-Class Merc or a High end M-Series BMW.

Typical load testing of match 308 ammo at 100yrds - one ragged hole. This rifle likes most 308 match loads. It's my test rifle for loads! Most people who have never handled a 'match custom' rifle will immediate notice the discernible difference when I hand them this rifle. In one word: 'solid.' It's something that you can't describe well but requires tactile sensation to fully appreciate. If you squeeze the crisp trigger, you will be hooked on this rifle.

Asking: $SPF to a nice gentleman up North - great taste!
FTF/PPT Turnkey to include the rifle, scope, mounts/rings and bipod.

Default LWRC REPR system 308 18 inch UBR stock Precision Rifle

Now the Land Warrior Reseach Corporation: LWRC REPR/SABRE 308 precision semi-auto fire 18 inch barrel long range engagement rifle.

This particular rifle is set up for Texas Hog hunting with an Ops 7 muzzle brake for suppressed fire (and for Night vision with magnified imaging). It is in prestine condition and has not been fielded due to timeline.

Special features:

1) PWS Muzzlebrake -- extremely effective. Geissele triggers -- absolute and most reknown trigger at this time. (pronounced 'guys-lee')
2) Magpul UBR stock- the best blend of compactness and steady stable platform buttstock. My personal favorite.
3) SR 25 magazine platform. Designed for any mag brand including DPMS, C-product, Magpul and more.
4) Properly barrel break in process
5) Sidecharging handle for checkweld preservation and ergonomic usage
6) Switchblock for suppressed, closed, regular, and regular gas control
7) Slim forestock with hardpoint for sling attachment
8) 18 inch barrel to maximize muzzle velocity but still offer portability

Here is an interesting review of it:

http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubb...Number=1502748

I am going to quote the factory introduction:

"The unique LWRCI™ Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle (R.E.P.R.) is a full spectrum weapon system designed to put devastating 7.62mm NATO rounds on target in a variety of roles. The R.E.P.R. rifle allows a marksman to perform assaulter duty with the 12” barreled upper installed, and quickly switch to a sniper role simply by changing to the 20” barreled upper. The extra upper receiver assembly can be carried in a backpack and takes up less room and weighs less than carrying a separate rifle.

The R.E.P.R. rifle utilizes our patented self-regulating, short-stroke gas-piston operating system, ensuring unparalleled reliability in the harshest theaters of operation. A side-mounted charging handle allows the shooter to perform reloads without removing their eyes from the target, and prevents any gas blowback to the face when using a suppressor. The ARM-R™ rails are easily removable and reinstalled with a hex key and provide a 100% return to zero for optics and lasers.

The R.E.P.R. rifle is available in three models: Standard Model (12”, 16.1”), Designated Marksman Rifle (18”), and Sniper Model (20”). The DMR and Sniper models will feature Geissele triggers. Each R.E.P.R. rifle comes with one barreled upper, but extra uppers are available in light contour 12” and 16.1”, medium contour 18” and heavy contour 20” configurations. Custom packages including one lower and two or more barreled uppers are available. These packages can be had with a variety of optics and accessories. Contact our customer service department for specifications. "

Here are the pictures:

I am asking $4888 (rifle only) for FTF transfer. SFO bay area or Orange County, CA

Scope, mount, benchrest and ammo not included. For demonstration purposesly only. Inquire about it if you are interested in purchase.

PM me for questions.

Default Turnkey GA Precision GAP-10 308 Precision Rifle with FFP European Scope

If the pictures don't show up during the day, wait till the evening when the host is not so busy and you will be rewarded with some nice pictures I have taken.

Now with the GAP 10 Rifle package:

Here is is the first: turnkey package: GA Precision Complete Rifle System GAP-10 in 308 Win. This uses the SR-25 magazine system (same as the Magpul LR mags) -- a very important point. This does not use the older Armalite AR-10 mag system which require a different mag.

I used it to engage steel targets at unknown distances and the ranging system of the first focal plane made it easy to 'bracket' the target and engage for pretty much 100% hits. Your results may vary.

I don't drive AR 308 rifles often and did not get a chance to shoot for groups for about a year but recently shot a hard earned group of five that I added to this post on the orange target. However this rifle is made for engaging targets -- too much fun to stop ... about 148rds down range.

This YouTube video will blow you away! This is not uncommon to encounter this degree of precision for GAP-10. Please be warned that if you watch this, you will PM me. I only have one of these for sale ...

Gentle push and not harsh recoil. The recoil is distributed over a longer instance of time and the perceived recoil to the shoulder is a reduced impulse than say a bolt rifle - which is more of a sharper jolt. In addition, the energy generated by the recoil is dissipated partially by cycling a very stiff action. Quick autoloading reloads make this an endangered and increasing rare precision rifle.

Easy to shoot sustained, fast, accurate fire. Absolutely turn key LOW DRAG HIGH SPEED system.

1) GAP-10 rifle system built on Fulton Armory matched (and very tight) upper and lower receiver
2) Magpul PRS Stock
3) 20 inch Bartlein 11.25 twist match barrel
4) Badger Ordinance Thrust muzzle brake
5) Match Gieselle trigger
6) PSG-1 style Grip
7) Full length rail system with covers
8) Extended latch release
9) Included Harris tilting bipod, Larue Quick Release adaptor attachment
10) Premium European (German Glass) First Focal Plane Optics -- IOR 3-18x42 35mm tube, Mil/Mil system
Flip up Butler Creek covers
V-Tac 35mm rings and riser for perfect alignment
http://swfa.com/IOR-3-18x42-Tactical...ope-P8937.aspx
11) Traditional forward assist

My 100yrd accuracy/precision group. Hard earned group that took a lot of concentration to get five shots to be covered with a dime. Not an easy feat!

Asking: $7088 FTF PPT transaction (PM for questions and reasonable offers)
Orange County or SF Bay Area by appt

Smile Larue PredaTAR 762 Rifle, New in Box 18 inch barrel

Presenting New in Box Larue PredaTAR 18 inch barrel model

This is the same lineage as the Larue OBR but in a much lighter package. All the extraneous weight is removed to get a rifle that you can pack all day and have the same accuracy potential as the legendary OBR.

This is a terrific package:

Here is what Larue writes:

PredatAR® 7.62 Overview

The PredatAR® 7.62 is designed for those who are searching for a lightweight, ultra-reliable and accurate 7.62 mm NATO rifle for home-defense, competition-shooting or hunting. The PredatAR® takes the highly-accurate OBR 7.62 “Heavy” design, and lightens it in every possible way with the least possible impact to the accuracy that the standard OBR is known for. By contouring the barrel, skeletonizing the handguard, lowering and simplifying the upper rail, and using a low-profile gas block, we were able to reduce roughly 2 pounds from the standard OBR 7.62 rifle.

The barrels are Stainless Steel, lightweight-profiled and feature rifling in a 1/11.25 twist rate. All barrels are threaded in 5/8 x 24, with an A2 flash hider attached* (other muzzle devices can be added at an additional cost).

The handguards on the PredatAR® extend out 14”, to suit a larger range of shooting styles. The zero-MOA upper rail provides plenty of room for weapon-mounted night-vision day/night combinations. Both the upper and lower are CNC-machined from billet 7075-T6, for the optimum fit and consistency. Even though we lightened certain features, there is still additional material in strategic areas to achieve maximum accuracy. Each rifle ships with one, 3” long, MIL-STD-1913 detachable rail section.

Both models come with a 6-position Magpul MOE Stock and LaRue medium A-PEG™ Grip. The Bolt Carriers are hand-polished hard-chrome with max-staked carrier keys, with Texas-Spec Bolt assemblies. The lower assembly has the proven Geissele Two-Stage trigger.

(Iron Sights, Optics and QD mounts not included in price)
Base model includes MOE Stock and LaRue medium A-PEG™ Grip, A2 Flash Hider, plus one LaRue (M110-compatible) 20-round magazines.

Asking $5800. Reasonable offers and trade welcome. Please PM me, do not post on my ad.

Default Highly Collectible Warren Tactical Series Pistol Made By Springfield Custom Shop

Introducing a very special and Collectible 1911. One 9mm WTS and a few 45 ACP WTS pistols available.

The Warren Tactical Series 9mm Operator made by the Legendary Springfield Custom Shop under the Auspices of Dave Williams is for sale here. These are the same clever elves that make the FBI/HRT Professionals and Railed Professionals.

This pistol is the closest thing to getting the new HRT Professionals carried by the FBI special field agents - without being a special SWAT operator. Special Two Tone finish, Recessed Lanyard attachment, and Scott Warren's famous WTS fibre optik sights.

Here is the Scoop on this particular pistol:

Scott Warren, the proprietor of Warren Tactical Sights and a great IDPA competitor, was instrumental in directing the FBI's HRT unit towards getting a new pistol platform. He wrote out the specs and invited the different manufacturers to undergo an intensive shootoff of the best 1911's that money or in this case - your taxpayers' money could buy. At the very end, it was the Springfield Custom Shop with Dave Williams at the helm which won this selection process and the 'Bureau' model was born. Later this pistol became known as the 'Professional' and then the 'Operator' -- also called the Railed Professional.

When Scott retired from the FBI, he started his own company called Warren Tactical Series. He commissioned Dave at Springfield Custom to build a small series of these limited handmade pistols. It encompasses the next generation of HRT pistols: namely the two two look of attractive olive drab and black. It also has the maritime/repelling requirement of the lanyard loop.

Here is the chance to own the pistol that has it's lineage with the originator of the FBI HRT Railed Professional.

Link to the Torture test done on this pistol:

Here is the pistol -- File copy from the endurance test and the write up.

This pistol uses the same great fibre optik sights and great for outdoor shooting and practice.

I am asking an audacious price but these are non roster difficult to get pistols. You can have one now by PPT in Southern Kal (OC area) or NoKal (SFO and Tracy area).

Asking $3998 FTF.

One and only one 9mm WTS pistol available.
A few 45 ACP WTS pistols still available

Reasonable offers considered.
Please PM me with questions and don't post on my ad.

Thanks very much,

DD

Default Sig 556 rifle with piston operated system and comfort features

This is a sale for a Classic Sig Rifle:

The Sig 556 self-loading rifle in 223/556 Nato with comfort additions

1) Most importantly is the SopMod stock. The original stock requested by special forces -- specifically the Delta Team. Rugged and very comfortable, it's one of my favorites.
2) Sampson Front folding front sight
3) MaTech folding rear for quick distance acquisition
4) Sig 550 black front foregrip for ergonomic comfort and aesthetics (looks)
5) Piston operated with option of normal and adverse conditions
The piston operation allows the carbon/dirt not to enter the action and thereby obviate close interval cleaning after firing. This action is taken from the proven Sig 550/551 system -- one in every Swiss family -- as part of the militia.
6) Uses normal AR-16/M-16 mag systems meaning Pmags work well
7) Integral rail allows usage of wide choice of optics and addition of folding sights facilitates optic usage
8) Smith vortex muzzlebrake -- makes a swirl pattern at night -- very impressive!
9) Extended and enlarged action latch
10) Because of all the engineering considerations and the forestock/buttstock combination, it's a very soft recoiling rifle compared to other similar self loading rifles. My subjective experience after shooting many different types of self loading rifles.

Caliber 5.56mm NATO
Overall Length 35.875"
length w/Stock Folded 27.1"
Barrel Length 16"
Rifling 1 in 7"
Sight Radius 18.1"
Forearm Polymer
Stock Type Swiss folding
Weight w/o Mag 8.2 lbs
Operating System Gas Operated, Rotating Bolt

Here is an excerpt from the factory:

"For years this legendary Swiss made rifle has been restricted to law enforcement and military sales where it has continuously built on its reputation for outstanding performance, accuracy and durability. SIG SAUER® offers the U.S. produced version as the SIG556, which is available to the general consumer and law enforcement markets. The SIG556 features the same high-performance two position adjustable gas piston operating rod system engineered by SIG’s sister company Swiss Arms and marries it to a trigger housing that not only cuts the rifle’s weight by a pound but is designed to accept standard AR magazines."

I know I'm asking an audacious amount. This is my last Sig rifle. I will miss this once it's gone and there may not be a chance to replace it ... sad.

Asking $2588 FTF. SFO Bay area or Orange County, CA

Default GAP-10 rifle system built on Fulton Armory matched (and very tight) upper and lower r

It is in my description: Fulton Armory Matched upper and lower. It's a full build from the raw pieces down by the riflesmiths at GAP.

"1) GAP-10 rifle system built on Fulton Armory matched (and very tight) upper and lower receiver"

Thanks for asking.

Default 18 in PRS stock Larue OBR is Sold. Sold 18 inch Turnkey package

Sold -- brand new Larue OBR (Optimized Battle Rifle) -- Complete package.

Reknown for extreme accuracy and reliability.

This is a complete factory assembled package -- Direct from Mark Larue in Texas.

Clarification of questions from PM: this is the complete set -- Turnkey set up at the Larue Factory with the scope, scope mount and hard FDE carrying case. This is how the factory intended the OBR 308 to be sent out. You just provide the ammo (match grade of course).

Important Specifications:
Larue OBR -- 7.62x51mm, 308 Winchester: Kalibre
18 inch threaded barrel
20 MOA built in cant upper rail
OBR mount -- 30mm
Giselle Match Trigger
Larue Bipod
PRS Magpul Stock
Larue flip up back up sights
Selector for: suppressed/normal operation
Tan hard rifle case
Special PSG-1 rubber palm swell grip
Kalifornia Legal configuration

NightForce NXS 3.5-15x50mm, Zero Stop, Illuminated NPR-1

LaRue Tactical OBR 7.62 Overview:
The LaRue OBR (Optimized Battle Rifle) was built from the ground up, using a newly designed upper-receiver platform, combined with a lower, inspired from our successful 5.56 MM lower. Both the upper and lower are CNC-machined from billet, for the optimum fit and consistency. Machined from billet 7075-T6, the receiver components are designed with more material in critical areas to alleviate known issues of weakness in 7.62 platforms and to stiffen the receiver....translating into maximum accuracy.

The upper-rail provides generous room for all issue weapon-mounted night-vision day/night combinations (suitable for 7.62 MM). The built-in cant provides correct ballistic orientation for all inline night vision combinations. The MIL-STD-1913 side rails are detachable, so that they can be configured for Vis / IR illuminators, etc, or left off to keep rails pristine, without the need for bulky rail covers. The bottom rails are also detachable, and can be positioned anywhere along the entire lower length, for the interface of MIL-STD-1913 equipped bipods, grips, tripod mounts, etc. These rails are offered as spare parts for field-service replacement, keeping repair cost at a minimum.

Barrels:
The barrels are LW-50 stainless steel in 16.1", 18" & 20" lengths. LW-50 has been proven for over 15 years, in military and civilian uses ranging from sniper, tactical, target, and other high-performance applications where long life and accuracy are critical. All gas blocks feature our unique Port Selector Technology (PST), a two-point adjustable gas selector that allows optimum function between suppressed, and unsuppressed operation at the flip of a switch. All barrels are threaded in 5/8 x 24, with an A2-type flash hider attached (other muzzle devices can be added at an additional cost).

Internals:
The Bolts and Bolt Carriers are hand-polished hard-chrome with max-staked carrier keys. The carrier key contact areas are designed for zero gas leakage. The trigger group is the excellent Geissele SSA Combat Trigger. The SSA provides an average 4.5lb pull weight.(2.5 lbs on the first stage and 2lb on the second stage).

OK don't faint.
If Separate:
Asking $sold for rifle and accessories (not including the NF scope)

If Separate:
Asking $sold for NF scope as seen (no OBR mount included)

Total package price:
Asking $sold thanks Buzz - you are the lucky and prospective thinking owner
FTF transaction in South SF Bay Area/Peninsula or Orange County Area at a designed FFL for PPT

Thanks for looking. PM for questions. Constructive comments welcomed.
