I still don't understand why manufacturers don't make guns single shot and then have an exchange program where we mail in the single shot slide and get back a regular slide.

My guess it is because they think it would get banned so the R&D they put into single shot pistols would be wasted.

The buzz at SHOT was most of the pistols at range day went down with problems pretty quick. I never caught the Hudson booth while I was there but most people said it was "okay"

I think the gun actually seems pretty nice but you could buy an SP01 tactical, spare mags, and a couple cases of ammo for that much moola.

Same here. And the SP01 is sexier too, IMO.

I was super excited about this pistol until I shot it and saw the mags.

They shouldn't have marketed the pistol the way they did. It ended up not meeting expectations. I wanted one right up until I shot it,
now I'll simply pass. Not worth the asking price. I'll put that money on a Maxim9 instead.

Well, for me, reliability is king. And I've been burned on being a first-adopter of a few things (mostly electronics), so I'd take a "wait and see" approach.

And I don't really see how this would replace a 9mm 1911 in CA, what with our 10 round magazines and all.

it is new and looks fancy. that matters to a lot of us.

people pay more for off roster even there is a comparable model on the roster
