The G30 to me was very controllable and accurate.

I have a KAHR P-45. About the same size. Right on the edge of being controllable.

            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

$1K is the LNIB price with only 500 rounds through it, no cleaning and only 1-magazine.

              Mint, unfired, probably $2K.

How does this work? I have been avoiding it but I do need to get some of my dad's guns transferred to me. He lives out of state and can't shoot much anymore.

To quote Patches O'Houlihan, "Is it necessary to drink my own urine? No! But it is sterile and I like the taste."

Who cares? Why do I have 75% of the guns I do? Cause I like them. Not all of them are practical. But they are fun, I enjoy them, I think they are nice to look at and fun to take apart.

They did, it's called the Shield. Mine does great at 25 yards.

I carry a 9mm/have one bedside for people protection, but 45 carry's more energy so I carry one when backpacking/hunting sidearm as well as on my ranch cause I would much rather have a 45 if/when I have to shoot through intermediate barriers etc.

How does it compare to the Springfield's XDs in 45?

It's basically the same size as the Glock 30s, but holds 6+1 versus the Glock's 10+1.

Wrong. It's smaller than the glock 36

No, that's a subcompact single stack.

And what's happened to 45 ACP bullet technology? Has it stayed the same or improved too?

9mm may have improved but it's still a pistol round. Personally I like the 9mm round and don't feel it's inadequate. But 45 acp will, likely, always be a bit better. And when one's life is on the line, a lot of people want every advantage they can get.
