M&P 45 Shield

Anyone see the new 45 shield announced this morning? Comes with 6 and 7 round mags. Looks a little bigger than the current models. Dimensions are smaller than a G36. Can't wait to see one in person.

Nice, but on the serious side a 3 in barrel 45 is not a great combination. Workable but not great.

I have a KAHR P-45. About the same size. Right on the edge of being controllable.

It might. I mean, they specifically make the Shield 9mm for CA. Why do you think they'd forego the biggest gun market in the country with this model when the CA Shield seems successful? I'd totally get one.

One word, microstamping. No offense but you have been a member here since 2010 and don't know how new models get on the roster? This is why we can't have nice things in CA.

I asked for one for Christmas. I just got a Ported PC Shield for my birthday and a 22 Compact for Christmas 2014.
