In CA, it's always a good time to stock up on everything gun related, especially ammo and components.

I have around 1k cases for 38 spl and 357 mag, 3k cases for 9mm and 223. I just need to find cheaper raw materials to start reloading.
American Reloading had some good sales (50% off) on pulled bullets. Wish I bought more 45 bullets ($65/1k, shipped).

Been buying a bit every couple of paychecks for some time now...amazing (and satisfying) how it starts to add up.

Always make my purchases with cash.

Every trip to the LGS or WallyWorld I pick up at least a box of 45, 9, 30-06, or 5.56/223.
You could either give it to someone who reloads or trade it in for a credit for reloaded ammo from Freedom Munitions.

Thanks! I will check that website out. I think the hardest for me is to find low cost powder. I will have to find that locally, because if I order from online vendors they slap on a big fee for delivering powder.

I prefer SGAmmo, or Cabelas during a good sale. Both ship UPS which allows you to hold ammo shipments at UPS Stores or the local hub.

Have a few shipments on the way from Gander Mtn, and they shipped FedEx. Not sure how I'm going to receive them. Delivery folks won't leave boxes at my house, and FedEx won't let me pick it up.

You can use a Tokarev conversion drop in barrel in a new production 1911.

BTW, 380 is much older than 9mm mak.

Yeah, I can't understand the attraction in going to a gun show to buy ammo. In addition to your reasons, transporting 10s of thousands of rounds is a PITA.
