Why Johnny Ringo. You look like someone just...walked over your grave.

Miwall usually has a sale over the fathers day weekend at the Grass Valley warehouse. The prices are not fantastic but they are OK. Plus there is an indoor gun range next door. It gets crowded enough that you have to take a number and wait your turn to get in. I waited for over an hour on the Sunday. Thing to do is to carpool the trip.
      They do have a website.

Newbie shooter here - and would be traveling to Nevada for a handgun course with Front Sight.

I know that it is illegal to import firearms into Kalifornia from off-state; but ammunition is fair game, correct? I just need to make the cases/can as inconspicuous as possible?

On the other hand, any recommendations for a good ammo store in Nevada? From what I'm hearing - it would be good to stock up on 40s and 9s (for my G22 and soon-to-arrive Px4).

        Thanks,

They are certainly ready for that.

If they wanted, they could do the same on the major freeways too. Think the 5 and 15 and 8 going in and out of San Diego.

They are only supposed to be checking for illegal aliens, but I have seen them arrest a few Drunk Drivers. The cops think they are justified in expanding their scope. The same is coming for gun owners.

We should setup checkpoints around Sacramento to arrest politicians who violate the bill of rights. Just a thought.

Hoarding ammo is not a crime.

As of now, fine to import from nevada. I believe one of the bills going to the governor for signature would make importation of ammo across the border illegal. I would recommend ammo supply warehouse in Pahrump. Great guys and they're almost always well stocked (and reasonable prices).
