Its always important to remind people to recycle your brass. I pick up my 9mm and take it to Jack Ross in Reno. Whatever you do, please pick up and recycle your brass.

I also stock up and drive to Reno if needed.

Apartment living is severely limiting my storage space. Currently have 6k of .45, 4k of 9mm, and 3k of 5.56/.223. That represents about a year of shooting for me, would like to have about double that but my closet is already more ammo than clothes at this point.

But point taken, I've been telling my friends. The Newsome initiative is real so it's time to buy buy buy.

Does Newsom proposal ban giving away ammunition after they are bought by a person?

From what I understand, yes. It makes transfer of ammo from person to person illegal, since it wasn't done through a licensed dealer and no background check was performed.

I started to stockpile in 2008. I hit Walmart 2 times per week . Lost count on my round count . Just got another 5,000 primers last week at my LGS . My powder count is about 15 lbs . Not done yet .

Any laws against a group buy? Say several guys get their bucks together and take a lil trip to AZ or Vegas and fill up the truck. Okfine, or not?

Ammo is heavy. Gas would kill. But yeah, if ya need it ya need it.

I know a commercial reloader who is stocking up on everything. They literally have over 100,000 pieces of each type of brass that is common. They think that things are going to hit the fan and want to have stockpiles stored up for reloading. It's amazing to walk through their storage container and see 5, 55 gallon drums full of 223/556. If that is not a lot, you should see the 55 gallon drums of .45 auto brass!! They actually have one full 40' container just of powder and bullets.

As for me, I'm keeping my mouth shut.

On that topic... Any recommendations on a factory reloader? Freedom Munitions used to be well-regarded, but I've seen several reports of issues recently. I think they may be having QC issues. And, of course, they won't ship to Sacramento even though they legally can

I shot about 300 rds of 9mm, 250 rds of 45, and 150 .223 today, collected all the brass added it to the pile and now I don't know what to do with it all in f it. I don't reload currently. Guess I could hold onto it and learn to reload.

Every trip to the LGS or WallyWorld I pick up at least a box of 45, 9, 30-06, or 5.56/223.

I've stocked up on enough ammo to last me a decade, if not more, of healthy shooting.

I even have several thousand of the oddball calibers like 5.7, 380, 357sig, 45GAP, and 10mm.

Bulletman is a great source if you are down here in the LA/OC area. I'm sure he ships too. Serge is an all around bro and I've been dealing with him for something like 8 years.

Also, SGAmmo.com sells Blazer Brass .45 and 9mm for an extremely competitive price.

I bought a lot from Freedom Munitions but between the two above I have not bought from them in over a year.
