Is a Glock really worth more than 600 or so?

Okay! I enjoy my Glock. I've had one for over 20 years. I realize I am in CA and things are hard to get here especially when we have politicians who don't really care much about law-abiding citizens and honestly believe that criminals or future criminals follow any type of written gun laws to get guns. However, are Glocks really worth a little more than 550 or 650? Would you want to pay above sticker price for a new car? Hey, everyone. Love your glock, whether you paid 400 or 1000.00.

Granted it is only when the vehicles are brand new to the market or are not common.
Simple supply and demand, just like off-roster firearms.

I wouldn't pay over 500 for one. I wouldn't pay over 500 for any pistol. Why would I? I can get a used Glock for 400 dollars. People pay for the name, not the product.

That's true of any product. Computers are another good example, I can build a powerful PC for 500 dollars that a company would charge you two grand for. Because their name is on it.

Yeah, keep believing that nonsense. I have a 16 year old Toyota 4X4 (4 cyl) with a bazillion miles on it that people have offered me almost half of what it cost new. Quality costs. Not saying a used up Glock is worth $500, but that's what they cost new, at Blue Label pricing for God's sake. Quit your *****ing. Unless they don't "go bang", they're worth it.

Its super reliable and a gun that you can bet your life on. That's worth more than $500 to me. Also people have paid over well over a $1k for firearms that aren't reliable out of the box or for firearms that look shiny and cool. 1911s can cost 2, 3x the price and sometimes they still put $ into them to be super reliable. But people don't think that's too much $$??? Strange?
