Is a Glock really worth more than 600 or so?

If glocks costed as much as sigs or hks people would still buy them. Glock makes a quality pistol, durable finish, good barrel, and capable of going a lot of rounds.

Is Glock worth $600? It depends on what you value in a gun. Are there cheaper alternatives that guarantee that caliber of dependability? Yes. The Springfield XD retails cheaper and just as reliable but it doesn't have the government contracts that make it a more popular gun. A Glock is a great gun, but I think it is a bit overpriced. But people are paying those prices for them, that's why Glock is pricing them in that range.

Couldn't find my receipt for my G30s or G26 Gen 4. Think they were slightly cheaper and bought them together and only paid the SSE $50 one time for both. These were all brand new. I wouldn't pay $1,000 for them. Gen 3 glocks are fine. Price gouging is the California way.

Aren't they both influenced by supply and demand? I realize not 100% but in CA demand is high and supply seems to be low. Just a little similar?

Glock 42 and Glock 43 should command higher premium because there are no Gen 3 alternative to them. Glock 17, 19, 26, etc. can be bought readily if you go with Gen 3.

The asking price was $900 and it sold, who knows what the agreed upon price was. I hope it was not $900 and if it was, the buyer deserves to spend more than s/he should for stupidity or ignorance.
