Glock is a multi-purpose tool. 1911s are not.

For example, if you need a chew toy for your dog, you're GTG.

Just remember to remove the metal bits first...wouldn't want to chip a tooth!

I find it amusing how glock guys are always trying to put down the 1911, it's like they always feel threatened or something.

I was at a match once and I was admiring a buddies G17 that he just got back having gotten a lot of work don to it. He's the type I described above always talking the 1911s down for no reason other than his own insecurities. So he proceeds to tell me how he got a magwell piut on, barrel changed, trigger worked on then reduced the grip and angled it. And I **** you not then proceeded to almost tell me " so it shoots and feels mor like a 1911". Be he stopped himself. In my head I'm sitting ther thing why not just buy a 1911 then lol.

Sorry, had to share. Who cares what you prefer to shoot, 1911 or glock, as long as you are smiling when you shoot it. I don't understand the why glock fanboys go to through the extra effort to knock 1911s.

Whenever I hear a glock guy chime into a discussion without anything constructive to add, and to merely cry out "my glock are so perfect in every way!", all I here is "i apologize for my childish interruption! Listen to me as I am in dire need of attention! I cannot add anything constructive to you 1911 discussion, but, I do own this soulless glock. It was all I can afford but it has been reliable and has treated me well. Pleas accept me as one of you! I swear it's just as good as your 1911's. Accept me please! Or else feel my wrath of childish glock perfection poking!"

My 1911 doesn't just eat hardball FMJRN ammo. It eats whatever I feed it. It's a thing called ramping, throating and polishing. It will even chamber brass with no bullets. I'm just sayin'........

I still laugh at comparos between 1911s and Glocks. They are both tools, a means to an end. In other words, a 1911 is a means to end a Glock, but not the other way around. So please stop comparing the two because there is no comparison. Will Glocks still be around in 100 years? Of course they will. They use the same non-biodegradable, petroleum based plastic as the evil grocery store bags.

They have the best comments like " My Glop NEVER JAMS I have 1 million rounds through it" then two post down some one will have a problem with there Glock . The same girl with the glock that never jams will say mine had the same problem I did this to fix it
