    alquist arms

I was just wondering how many of you use them, or shop with them?
This is where all my friends and family buy our stuff.
They are a great spot who loves to work with you to get you the gun you want. They are often times a lot cheaper that the competition.

I do not work for them but love em.

If your in Central Cali where do you get your guns?

Buy a gun, carry the gun, and if applicable use the gun to protect yourself and family.

I've bought one gun from them, good bunch of folks. I think I see an Ed Brown in my future and I know they carry them so I may be visiting real soon!

I was in there just this weekend and bought 2 more from them. Good guys! Wish they would get into the OLL thing so I wouldn't have to drive over the hill.

Yep, really nice guys, great little shop. They have always had fun stuff on the shelves. And they are right up the street from the in-laws

No need to cross the Altamont.Ronning Arms on Yosemite Ave(Modesto) has been doing OLL's for a while now. They are a little pricey though. Doublestar multi -cal @ $205 out the door.

I just wanna take a moment to jump on the Alquist Arms bandwagon really quick.

Hands down the best gun shop I have ever been in. Not only are they the coolest bunch of guys they have excellent prices.

I make all of my gun purchases through them. Usually go through Bobby. He's a good kid.

                    Don't hesitate to go there.

They are on my short list to visit now that I have relocated to Merced. Good to hear everyone likes them.

I live in Modesto but find the drive to Turlock is worth the effort. Great selection of guns, great prices, and the owner is a real nice guy. Not so much a full line dealer though; it's a real small shop so ammo and reloading supplies, etc are limited.
Check back later for a witty comment.

                          Not Barnwood

No, Barnwood is in Ripon. Ronning used to be Yosemite Guns and also a different name I can't recall. They aren't the friendliest or most helpful dealers I have dealt with, but they were the closest OLL dealer to Oakdale. As far as LPK, upper, and other AR parts, I give my business to Sierra Arms.Great people , very helpful.

The only problem I have with Alquist is their display. Everything seems to be stacked on top of each other and the lighting in the whole shop is like a closet with a nite-light

These guys and girl are great to deal with, They have always been fair and informitive. Gun cases are full of handguns as tommyboy said, It's nice to see this many handguns in one store and yes they need better lighting.
