1k all day, like another poster said finest 9mm made well that and the 228. That's the pistol that sets the bar, the baddest men on the planet have been using it since the early 1980's and still trust the Sig to the current day. Not Glop, Cz, Walther etc can claim such a honor. Tendency to break HAHAHA ya I'm sure it has happened, but you think the Navy SEALS have been using them for over 30 years cuz they suck. Don't listen to all the key board warriors saying Glop perfection, what you have in your hands is perfection.

I have mine set up with Trijicon night sights (second set) and Lasermax internal guide rod laser. It is the best semi auto I own. I have it for HD as it is too big for CCW. For the few hundred bucks involved, I think you should consider shooting and enjoying.Comment

Of course I do. Maybe I should have mentioned they were aftermarket trijicons and not from the factory. They were also advertised as working... but thanks for pointing out the obvious..."Already" burned out? You know that most all night sights are expected to last no more than ten years from new right?? The last guns roll marked WGERMANY were produced in 1994 or 1995.

Yes, you should have....
And with your admission above that "I should have mentioned" means that it was not "obvious"...

I have the exact same gun, same year of manufacture. Bought it used at the old B&B Guns in Westminster in 1996 for $400 USD. Still shoots great, better than my the last issued Sig I had (2008 manufacture). They on.y thing I replaced on it was a pair of Siglite Night Sites this past summer.Comment

Test fired
I took this apart and I would confirm that it was only test fired. My buddy said he never fired it and I know that I didn't either. The pic's aren't the best and It sat for over twenty years in the case. I am really surprised that it didn't have rust. Some of Ca gun laws are criminalComment

You still seem butt hurt. I will enjoy my Glock. If I did make a mistake about the steel being folded then my bad. I noticed you didn't challenge me on the fact that the slide is 2 pieces that were welded together which a point of failure. Why don't you stop being butt hurt and address that point.
It's also a fact that West German Made Slide have cracked in the past or is that a moronic statement. It doesn't fit your argument that the 226 is somehow the greatest gun ever made.Comment
