I have no idea of the round count but my dad's duty 357 went in and out of the holster practicing draw and fire that the outside of the last two inches of the barrel was worn down to the point if was oval instead of round.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

If you're referencing my Sig 229 post - nope, no spring changes of any kind (including magazines) Although, I have so many magazines, I couldn't begin to guess which ones are the original mags - though all of them are from the 1990s.

Why? I'm just curious as I've never seen the need to know exactly how many rounds I've fired through any particular handgun.

I could understand if it were some exotic big bore rifle caliber that's known to wear out barrels, but I personally don't see the need for pistols, plinkers, etc.

If something breaks I'll fix it, if something wears out I'll replace it.

Just sounds like a lot of work and unnecessary math.

If I had to guess, my highest round count gun is probably my 22/45.

I would say it has fired somewhere between 10,000 to 45,000 rounds, with a margin for error of +/- 10,000.
