    Glock Magazines. . .

    Any other Glock owners here have trouble actually getting ten rounds in to the mag? At the range the day I got it, I could only get about seven in with difficulty. And fighting it today, I finally got nine in. Is there a trick or do I have to break it in before 10 will actually fit?

    Many sore thumbs at the range due to these magazines... I'm afraid it doesn't get any easier.

    You could always try using the auto-loader that came with your glock. It's a bit silly to use, but it gets 10 in no problem.

      I've found that to be common on many double stack magazines (I only own 1 gun w/ a double stack, but have rented all the common ones).

      I've found the trick to be (sans using a speed loader) to hold the magazine with your week hand choked up fairly high so that your thumb and index finger create a bit of a funnel over the feed lips. Then press in the rounds in one at a time with your strong hands thumb. Most likely it's not that your too week to get the rounds in, but that your wasting energy trying to keep the next round from sliding off of the previously loaded round.

      When I took my beginners handgun class the instructor told us to use our week hand thumb to depress the follower / last loaded round and then press in the next round with your strong hand thumb, this works but I've found my "funnel trick" to work better, at least for me.

        In my experience with those pesky Glock mags, it is best to use someone else's thumb to load them.

                    seriously, the best $25 you can spend to supplement a Glock. After I finally bought one, I kicked myself for not buying one sooner.

                      The last two rounds were a tight fit for a while (a long while), but unpleasant as it was, the rounds went in alright. I guess, you just weren't lucky with a mags. Which Glock was it?

                        And it works for many different mags. Even worked for CZ-52 mags.

                          Another recommendation for the UP-LULA.

                          Glock magazine springs are really stiff, they make them that way on purpose.
                          It's always hard to load the last round in any Glock magazine (10 round or large capacity).

                              Interesting enough when my friend and I rented a 30 we had the same problems... I bought a Gen 2.5 G30 off a board member (with only 150 rounds through it) and they load in these mags like butter.

                              Only difference is I added a Pierce grip extension...
