If I have to explain it....you should just own an HK, M&P, Walther or XD. Nothing wrong with any of them.

It is nice to have a choice... I like things simple... This works for me...
Is it "BEST" no it's just my Best... in a 9mm polymer pistol.

i have long been a fan of the Gen 1 G17, Gen 2 G17 and Gen 2 G19. i also hold the G26 in high regard. there are those that 'don't get' the contribution that the Glock pistol has given to the world of combat handguns; you get it.

        And next week,

"Who's got the p'ertiest fat girl!"

        Jus' messin,

I have a couple polymers. (M&P 45 with about every apex farkle possible, and a Kahr PM9 - bone stock and a old gen 2 Glock 30),
No love for any of them.
They all work well enough, and I keep them as they are reliable as can be. But so are pretty much anything I own.
Nonetheless, I prefer metal, even alum, like my m9, over any plastic pistol.

I have only two and one for only a short time. I have carried my XDSC 9mm as my ccw twice for almost 11yrs., I recently switched to the S&W Shield in 9mm. That is a nice pocket pistol and shoots nice, I haven't had any problems with either and they both shoot fine..

I don't like how Sigs sit high up in the hand, the high bore axis.

If I want looks I'll Google Mila Kunis

You can disassmble the P320 and it's FCU faster than a Glock? Doesn't beat Glock.

Glock has a goofy grip angle, but it can be fixed.

Hope you like those stock sights, because there ain't much else out there for the P320. There are probably a dozen good Glock aftermarket sights.

Plastic gun shooters are afraid of plastic, and steel gun shooters are afraid of MIM; I don't get it.

A Glock is very modular. For $400 I buy another used one. For $400 you don't get another P320.

Agreed on all of these except sights. Believe P320 will take the P226 series sights.

I was comparing stock gun to stock gun, obviously glocks have more aftermarket support since they have been around forever. For the record, i am a fan of Glock and own several. The P320 is just the better gun, and you will start to see more aftermarket parts for it soon.

-Bruce Gray is not the only person that does great trigger jobs, Robert Burke is an example of another. No reason why someone can't do their own 25 cent trigger job on the P320(there's one reason why ease of disassembly comes in handy).

-High bore axis does not make a significant difference in shooting the gun. Just ask max Michel, who is winning tons of competitions and setting all kinds of records with a p320.

                  - I agree that looks are subjective and don't matter on a combat pistol

-yes I do like the stock sig night sights, but I'm sure that there will be many more options soon.

-all the metal internal parts on the sig just shows the quality

-p320 beats Glock at one of their own selling points, simplicity.

-You might not be able to, but I can get another new p320 for $500 and I don't have to change the sights, modify the trigger and hack up the grip.

While I respect everyone's personal choices and recognize that one size does not fit all, in the gun universe, I am extremely pleased with my family of Springfield XD's.
Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...

I have two P320 and I tried liking them over my G19s, but don't. That said it is an incredibly accurate gun and imo the felt recoil is very minimal (not that 9mm anything really exhibit that much recoil)

If I didn't have so many rounds through/wasn't so used to Glocks (g19 especially), I would pick a P320 Compact (without hesitation). For square range shooting I like the PPQ more then either but for classes and matches, I would pick a G19 or P320

STI/SV's are plastic guns if you use a plastic grip right?

Out of these only sights and for me a minus connector is necessary

I have shot the XD, the Glock, and the USP, and the HK is far and away the 'nicest' gun of the 3 in my opinion.

If you're talking about build quality, it's pretty much black and white, not even glock owners argue. The HK is a tank. If you're talking about what's the 'better' gun, that's completely subjective. Everyone likes what they like.

I will say, the USP doesn't have the greatest trigger on earth straight out of the box. Magazines are expensive. It's a bit heavier than the other 2. There's a hammer.

Best may to decide what you like is to rent or borrow some and shoot em.

I've actually heard many, many times that the PPQ has one of the best factory triggers you can buy. Never shot one myself though.
