Which New .45 Should I Get?

It doesn't matter. Get one first, then get the other one next month. Only issue I see here is which one do you want to get first. That's why I have a 1911, a P220 carry, and a G21 SF, and who knows what's next.

Never shot a Sig, but the xd45 tactical 5" had great ergonomics, was accurate and recoil was very manageable.

You can also change the grips to the CZ thin aluminum ones if you need less bulk....they look better than the stock brown anyway!

I have an XD 45 4" and hate the thing. Selling it soon. The trigger is eh and it was a damn mission to place shots where I wanted em. Have a buddy who owned an fde xd 45 and he sd his after he had the same struggles.

I have very small hands.
I have various 1911s and a Glock 21SF.
I can shoot all of them just find.
I have to come to like the 1911 over the years over most semi autos.
I also shoot revolvers in .22lr, .38special, .357mag, .44mag, and .45acp.
They are all FUN to shoot.
If you can get to a range that has a variety of rentals and try them out.
Get what you like and have fun.
If it's not fun don't do it.

This pistol has thin grips and seems to align in the hand (no matter what size) better than most other pistols. Plus, it's engineered for reliability and even so you get better than average accuracy right out of the box.

For a 45acp you have to consider a 1911. But if only one I would take mt HK45. But you since it's CA and you might be able to get one than the P220. The XD45 is a good pistol (not bad or greatly it doesn't belong in the same class as these pistols. In my opinion it's a notch below. Its cheaper to wait and buy one gun instead of buying the cheaper option than the other later.
