    Gun Grease

Anybody have a favorite gun grease? There seem to be many brands -- is there good reason to prefer one vs. another?

    Comments welcome, thanks

Slip 2000 ewl grease or milcomm tw-25b.
Update: I am glad other people have said they use these as well. I use Slip2000 products for the most part. I love their oil. Penetrates and lasts.

I use a dab of white lithium grease, I forget who made it but they used to sell it in the gun dept. so now I just use regular white lithium, cheaper too.

I have been using the heavy version of Slide Glide for the last few years. It works wonderfully and is easy to clean up.

Tractor grease with graphite. A tub is $5 and will last a lifetime. Dab it where white metal shows on your gas-gun and it'll run like a Deere.

Regular GM red chassis grease with some synthetic oil mixed in to make it thinner.

I use Mil Comm TW-25B. Read quite a few good reviews on their stuff.

Also heard Wilson Combat Ultima Lube II is good too.

I use super lube for grease and oust metol. Oust is actually for fishing reel bearings but it penitrates metal so I put a light coat on my barrel and let it sit a few minutes then wipe it off, now it feels Teflon coated. Also use it in the breech face and slide.

You may as well ask what everyone's favorite beer is.

                    Mines Slip2000.

Another user of TW-25b. It's the only gun specific grease I've used and it does what's supposed to. I would consider trying Slip 2000 when my tube is done simply to try a new product, but honestly, from the research I did TW-25b seems to be the one that has the most praise from its users.
