While I wouldnt say garbage, I would have said you can get a lot more for your money. Also there are some reliability issues that have arisen.

Kahr's are good pistols, particularly the PM line. As far the Turner's employee, as the saying goes "If all you know are nails, the solution to every problem is a hammer."

for the cost of a PM9, i'd rather buy something else and save the rest of the money. for the cost of a CW9, i'd rather spend a few dollars more on something else that worked better for me.

i don't think kahr pistols are garbage, just not for me. they don't fit my hands well as well as some other small pistols, i cant shoot them as well as other small pistols, shot one cw9 where the mag wouldn't stay in the gun (i wouldn't rule out user error), and while this doesn't affect function, they all feel really cheap (in a bad way) in pretty much every way possible. if someone else wanted one though, more power to them, i don't think there are any major technical/important flaws with them.

I like mine. I was looking for a pocket gun and considered the DB380, the CW380, and a G42. My Kahr was $371 OTD and after the break-in period, functions reliably... save for a (predictably) terrible experience with Tula steel cased ammo.

Shields are not spiffed, nor is any other S&W. There are some guys who just really love that gun. I know one salesman who's answer to everything is pretty much the MP Shield. It is what he likes, and pretty much all he knows.
No reason for the S&W Connect program then. But there it is.

Somebody knows things that aren't really real I guess.

              I don't think it's me.

BS. I own a Kahr P45 for a few years and it works great. It's my out-of-CA CCW. Even during the initial 200 round break in phase, not a single problem. It eats everything I feed it.

Yes that is absolutely true, that is how they continue to sell them...

And Taurus make garbage guns too. I know because when I was at Sycamore canyon RSD range and we were all inside cleaning our pistols after the practice we just had, one of the Sheriff's Deputies confessed after inspecting my PT-92 that he once had a Taurus revolver that he carried as his backup in an ankle holster and one night he had a dream that he pulled it out and it fell apart when he tried to fire it. He woke up that morning and lost all confidence in his revolver and all of Taurus firearms after that dream so he sold them all and never looked back... True Story and I never once played poker with the guy, neither has my dad...

And after you are done paying for that story from Turners, I have a SWEET deal of some prime beach front property in Nevada for you...

Turners in SBD again eh? Jeeze, when will those guys ever stop talking out their asses?

I picked up a used PM9 a few years ago. Initially had some trigger reset issues. I took it apart and polished off some burrs and I have never had a malfunction since. I love my PM9.

I have a CW9 and it is a fine firearm, it is just a little more recoil compare with the shield. Turner's people are junky in IMO! Another day I came to pick up my gun at Organge turner ( because the seller request the transfer at there) I bring my own lock which is from Chino PD with a letter stated: to whom who may concern this lock given to this person at the day.... The guy at turner took out the lock he keep look and look then he call his manager out and the manager looking at the manual then he told me quote:you have to buy the store 's lock. I told him do you aware that this lock given to me by the Chino PD who is Law's man? He said this lock just for home use, it is not qualify for the state requiment you have to buy the store lock !!!! I went to the front cashier, took out the manual, point out the line which is said DOJ approved and ask the store manager how come you want me buy another? He read the line then said Oh we did not see that, we are human and sometimes make mistake!!!! Finally I went home with my own lock and said to myself: BEAT TURENNER )

Sometimes I think they should muzzle the Turners salesman. I hear them saying the dumbest (most untrue/contradictory) things from time to time. The worst part is a lot of customers believe them because after all they work at a gun store.

They act this way because it works for most of the general population. . . .

                              I have owned three kahrs.

                              P380- trash
CM9- had a lot of issues
CW9- reliable after the 200-round break in

Go to kahrtalk.com and you will see kahr pistols have more issues than other major brands (glock, xd, m&p, rugers, etc...)
