When I first got into guns, Cz was the last thing I tried as a rental.
Turned into my first second and third purchases. Lol.
      I love my cz's.

I have 3 and they all shoot very well. Dollar for dollar one of the best values out there even with the increased cost from the recent gain in popularity.

CZ has always made guns to function very well; they weren't always the prettiest inside, or the finish exquisite, but they were known to be rock-solid guns. About 15 years ago, they started to put a bit more finesse into their designs and quality, and in the past 5 years, have really ramped up attention to quality, accuracy, and R&D.

CZ has quickly become one of my favorite firearm manufacturers just as SIG and HK are simultaneously falling out of favor. Looking at a lot of the modern handguns from all three, CZ simply builds a better gun - price aside - but they even do it at a better price anyway. The P01 and the SP01 along with the P07 and P09 as just excellent in ever way.

Also, their Dan Wesson 1911s are a steal; solidly made frames and parts, fitted with plenty of Ed Brown items almost to the point of being an Ed Brown, at nearly 1/3rd the cost. While I'm sure they don't have the fitting and hand-customizing an Ed Brown has (I do have an Executive Target) I've heard nothing but good stuff about them and what they Do have in fit and finish appears to be near custom-built quality that rivals the likes of Kimber or Springfield at similar costs.

Well I've been hearing a lot about them so I went and got a CZ75B and I just got back from shooting it for the first time. I understand the hype now, this gun is a solid tack driver and I love it. 300 rounds put through it today with absolutely zero issue and big holes where the bullseyes used to be.

Wait until the trigger smooths out. Probably another 5-600 rounds. Or get on Youtube and do a little polishing. Night and day difference.

Tac Sport 9 and 40 are still on roster. I got mine at Island View Enterprises in Ventura. They were on sale over x-mas holidays for $999 but $1399 now.

According to their site they have the 40 in stock but not the 9 right now.

$999 was great price, so is it better than CZ 75 Shadow? I have shadow and its awesome and accurate.

The SP-01 is a popular and "winning" gun in USPSA.

They are wonderful guns. I'm holding my SP-01 in reserve while I ramp up my skills in USPSA production class with a plastic gun. When I can outshoot my plastic, I'll switch the SP-01. I also DQ'ed with my SP-01 while decocking it.
