Why are you set on the Tac? I have both and prefer the safety. With practice I don't find coming out of the holster cocked and locked an issue.

I know it's a matter of preference but i'd hate to give up an off roster gun. Non-decockers are easier and cheaper to upgrade I believe as well.

Yea, I thought so to. I really do have just about everything. Tac Sports, every Shadow there is, Czechmate, CTS LS, a ridiculous crapload. I mean really, I'm a CZ glutton.
Totally stuffed and satisfied.

Until I saw a SP 01 LS at CZC. And then, as if twisting the knife, some idiot here disclosed the TS Orange.

Suddenly my eyes morphed from contentment to that "must have" look. During SSE my wife learned to fear that look.

No "Jimmy Choo" for you, woman! There are CZ's to be had!

I was looking for a 75B back in the fall of 2012. I settled for the 97B, because of availability then. Then after the Hook incident, shtf.


2 years later, I found my 75B, then I found a Compact 75B, I am picking up a P-01 this week.

Decockers, in my opinion and experience, have a smoother trigger pull. This is soley based on dry firing a few of each and every time I liked the decocker model just a wee bit better. I don't have any charts n graphs to support this though.

As far as one being cheaper and easier to upgrade, eh, parts cost the same and a good gunsmith can handle either. I'm VERY happy with my 75BD (decocker) and how a simple spring job smoothed it out.

I have a TS upper and I have not noticed a difference except for a few PF at the chrono. The longer sight radius is nice.
