I was told that Cz-USA no longer submitted pistols for CA required testing.

I guess you guys are still really into CZs, and esp the RAMIs.

what do you mean by this? does that mean whatever is currently on roster for CZ won't be there after it expires?

I suspect he means new submissions, which is true for pretty much all manufacturers now.

Renewals don't require additional testing.

I think they are grand fathered in, which is why you don't see mag disconnects on the current production. I'm not sure how long it's good for though....

Does it shoot POA with stock sights? I will be using cheap Federal and Winchester 115gr Walmart ammo.

Haven't shot Winchester 115gr's but walmart federals and reload 115gr's and they are point of aim/point of impact perfect

Great pistols, but a little tricky to get a hold of, and not just in California.

Just jailed an SP-01 at Riflegear. Two other people were getting the same gun. Woot, can't wait till the 10 days are over.

got to a different range w/ better booth lighting so I can see the sight dots. This stock lil P01 is pretty impressive and smooth. Was also testing out some hand loads w/ berry RN 124s over TG that went well

10yards off hand




compared to my SP01 same distance, same cheap walmart perfecta ammo

I bought my first handgun last August, a CZ75BD, I have to say, my wife was my witness, first shot was dead center of target, I even folded the target in quarters to make sure I wasn't crazy

All other friends have been amazed by it when they try it. Unfortunately it still has the stumpy non-beaver tail so it bites a bit. But nothing that I haven't gotten used to by now.


Next buy is a SP-01 or P-01

I recently bought my first AR so i have to wait a few months to save. Taxes, Vacations and Guitar gear puts a damper on my gun gear haha
