I was in a LGS today and they have several brand new CZ 75 SP-01 9mm for $612 and CZ 75 tactical sport 9mm for $1,179 available. Which one should I buy? Are the prices reasonable? I have one each on hold and need to let them know by COB tomorrow.Comment

The only real problem with the TS, is finding more mags ...Originally posted by dysonget the TS, just got one and was shooting some tight groups with 40 s&w. trigger is awesome.Originally posted by BumslieHK - the best 600 dollar gun, 900 dollars can buy.Originally posted by SleighterGetting legal advice from a gun salesman, is like getting medical advice from a janitor at a hospital. Yeah the reset on the stock CZs are somewhat long. What a lot of folks on this forum enjoy doing is after they get their CZs, they get it upgraded. You'll hear of Cajun Gun Works and CZ custom come up.Comment

^^Indeed, with the right upgrades a sub 3mm reset distance can be achieved on the steel framed safety models.
Here is a video that illustrates the reset distance of two modded CZ's. The over-travel adjustment set screw is not installed in the first pistol. Once adjusted the over-travel can be reduced a bit more, this would further reduce the reset distance. This video was originally produced to illustrate what is obtainable by hand fitting a CGW T.3 oversized disconnector (SA Pre-travel reduction).
First Pistol: SP-01 with the FPB removed and a T.3 hand fitted disco.
Second Pistol: CZ75 Shadow Custom from CZC. (Pre-B Disco installed)
