Haven't completely radiused the relief cuts, but sometime soon I'll jump back on this project. I had a couple of Glocks that needed done so I did my G35 while I had my little mill set up for it.

Most of those trigger guard cuts are ugly and look so out of place. It looks like you just took a dremel and hit that small spot only and didn't bother to blend it in with the rest of the trigger guard.

I really like this way, and this is how I have my Glocks done. There's only a handful of people that I know of who cut the trigger guards like this on Glocks and M&P frames and do a clean job doing it. It looks more natural on the frame, and it still gives you a higher purchase on the grip.

Not to pick on this person or his gun (first one I just came across in the Glock picture thread, but I personally don't like the way the trigger guard is cut, and I see a lot of Glocks done like this.

IMO, it just doesn't flow well with the rest of the frame. But ymmv as others may think this is perfect for them.

Here's a still of Kyle Defoor's Glock. He was a DEVGRU SEAL and a trainer at Blackwater. Message him on Facebook and tell him how his gun is ugly and doesn't flow. Let us know what he says.

          SEALs fight on facebook, too?

Seems like a vanilla/chocolate argument to me.

Grabbed the dremel and went nuts. Feels infinitely better. My wide middle finger knuckle used to get chewed to hell after a day at a course.

Personally, it was all about the feel. I don't give a flying fart what it looks like.

I sent him a message and told him what's up, and he apologized to the Calguns & Glock community.

I just took enough off to keep from getting Glock Knuckle. First I wrapped some 400 grit sand paper around a sharpie. Then Sanded an angled groove into the side of the trigger guard. Once I had a nice groove started, I got a little more aggressive with a dremel & sanding drum. Once I got it how I liked it, I smoothed it out with the dremel & a polishing drum. Be careful with the polishing drum on the polymer. It heats up & melts if you use too much speed or too much time in the same spot. No big deal, it just takes longer to get it smoothed out.

Who did that beautiful work? Very tasteful!

This was my Glockworx G20SF. I loved the double undercut, but I wouldn't do an undercut that aggressive without removing the finger grooves. The higher grip will probably change how you line up with the finger grooves. If I could afford to send all my Glocks to Glockworx, or had the skills & confidence to do it myself, they would all have this grip.

Super clean! Who did this work? I can't seem to figure out how to get my stippling lines this perfect.

Your gun will be fine. Unless you are trying to convert it to 5.50AE later, the gun will survive just fine with an undercut.

SSVI also does the same thing and makes it look clean like that, but I think he's not taking on any new work at this time since he's fulfilling a bid right now for an agency.

Look Pal! I'm getting real tired of you non operators hating on my glock. You obviously don't see the tactical advantage I possess with this high speed setup... Psssh, you guys have no idea...
