Pulled over while carrying

I've been pulled over twice while carrying since I have had my CCW. First time was Irvine PD, second was CHP. Both times I just opened windows, kept hands on wheel, when officer approached stated I was a CCW holder and was armed, with location of weapon, and waited for his OK to reach for wallet (pocket) and reg (glove box). Both times interaction was quick and very civil. Irvine PD cited (that's a given) CHP let me go with a warning.

I would venture to guess OCSD is collecting data on traffic stops as a measure of your good judgement and potentially an issue for license renewal. If you have been stopped say 6 times in 2 years, that would cause me to question your judgement. Pure speculation on my part, but other than that why would they care?

When I was younger and worked at a bar, I was pulled over about once a month (on average). I left the bar at 2 am 5 nights a week. Basically, anytime a light went out on my truck, I was pulled over pretty much everyday until it was fixed (usually within a few days). I was also stopped a couple times for stopping past the limit line at the stop sign and the one time I forgot to turn my headlights on. I never once got a ticket during those stops as they were looking for DUI's, but I would not call that poor judgement. I really hope that is not what OCSD is doing!

Hahahaha! I do keep them in the glovebox, but I also keep a copy in my wallet. I actually shrink down a copy of my registration card and keep it in my wallet. I keep my insurance card on my phone...
