Neither my dress or my carry gun really change that much through the seasons.

Jeans or shorts and a polo or button down with a G19 IWB, year round.

My clothes are the same. It's not like we have actual seasons here. Maybe I'll take an umbrella a few time. Maybe I'll take a jacket if I'm going to be at my outdoor range for a few hours.

        Excellent point.

Draw and presentation are clearly impacted by a change of holster and/or concealment garments.

It's been cold enough to wear my heavier pea coat, so I've gone to OWB with my Kobra Carry. I use a Garret Silent Thunder OWB holster which rotates 360 degrees, so it 10x more comfortable when I get in the car. Even when I get in the sports car with low seats, I'm comfortable enough to leave the gun on, where I have to remove my IWB XDs when I wear it.

No real change other than not having to worry as much about the gun showing under a jacket versus the regular tee shirt, button down shirt, or polo shirt.

Where and how you carry your gun should not vary much because when the time comes down to serious business, you react reflexively to what you are used to and if your gun is not there or the holster is different, requring a different draw, you just lost precious seconds and that is enough to make you dead.

Even adding a jacket changes your draw and should require practice to eliminate delays and bobbles during presentation.

I also find adding even a light jacket makes printing significantly less problematic ...

Only difference for me will be that I won't be as paranoid about printing.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I consider practice fun. For those ranges that have IDPA matches or the like, the weather inside or outside depending on range usually mirrors what is going on outside. i.e. cold or hot as hell. So you can chose to wear your normal garb when competing or practicing. You likely won't win your division but you can valuable reps under some level of stress.

Freaking OC residents. Same weather all year round +/- 10 degrees.

Up here in the AV, it was below freezing on Yesterday morning and this morning. Going to be lows in the 30s for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the 60s.
