I think it more likely CRPA has gone half asleep on these Essos clearly dragging their feet. And they haven't said (out loud) why.

Just so you?re aware while they actually appear to be putting in work to fight for our 2A rights the CRPA is in fact the state chapter of the NRA.

Anyone know if/when Sonoma is moving to a regular ID card size CCW instead of us laminating and folding? Not a big deal but seems more practical and professional looking.

When the attorney general submits a design uniform to the entire state. I imagine it'll be the size of a cinder block and we'll have to wear it on our heads.

They're an affiliate but they have their own money. I'm not supporting the NRA with my CRPA dues. I won't support any organization that supports red flag laws period

              Renewal timeframe

For those of you who have applied for renewal lately, how long is it taking from the date you apply to being approved? Alicia recommends applying 90 days before your expiration date. What timeframes have you been experiencing?

I did the recommended 90 days prior. I just got my approval this afternoon. Start to finish was 13 days to get my renewal approved. Haha.

Good intel. Thanks. Does your newly approved permit show that it?s good for two years from the recent approval date, or two years from your previous permit?s expiration date?

My current permit expires December 1st. And even though I was approved in September I still cannot pick up permit until after or on my expiration date. Unfortunately it doesn?t reflect my approved renewal date. I confirmed this with Alicia. Luckily I got an appointment for the 6th of December for pick up. 2 years starts at day of pickup.

Just finished filing for my renewal and the form was very different from last time. It took about a half hour finding all the places I lived and the time periods. Also had to go online for some bills as most of mine are electronically sent to the bank. Hopefully I get in before it expires.

I modified my license to change out a listed gun. Here is my timeline for that:

09/03/2023 pickup gun after 10 day wait
                          09/30/2023 qualification with trainer $50
                          10/01/2023 receive updated training notice
10/03/2023 apply to modify license with SCSO online $104.63
10/16/2023 receive approval via robo-call/text/email, schedule pickup for 10/18
                          10/18/2023 pick up modified license

Was it still the rice paper, or have they started issuing DL sized cards?

Still the same odd shaped paper license. They did emboss it, which they didn't do the last time.
