"Congratulations! The second review of your application for a Concealed-Carry Weapon License is complete!"

I'm fine with all of us "congratulating" each other for the success of navigating the system to obtain permission of the government to exercise our rights, but I take issue with the GOVERNMENT "congratulating" me for them deciding I can bear arms. Personally, I'd prefer if that email read "Thank you for submitting the application. The second review of your application has been completed. Please proceed to the training phase."

Hello everyone. I’m planning on applying for my CCW permit. I’m a horrible interviewee, I think the last one on one interview I had was over 10 years ago. Can anyone share their interview experience? How long the interview was, what are the questions regarding and what did you wear to your interview?

So possibly just questions regarding the application I filled out? Roughly how many questions were asked? I've read about different counties having an hour long interview and others 20 minute interview.

If you use one of the Training/Prep services for your application they can help you prepare for your interview. There is nothing to stress about. If you have nothing in your background to disqualify you, and you have completed the application accurately to the best of your knowledge, you will be fine. Just remember to breath and answer the questions the same way you did on the application. Honesty keeps you calm and relaxed.

                      Good luck!

The Sheriff is going to ask you questions he already knows the answers too for the most part. Have you or anyone in your household been arrested, have you ever visited anyone in prison or jail things like that. He will tell you at the beginning that most people get denied because they lie. Be truthful and don't sweat it its super easy. took about 10 minutes. Good luck!

Agreed, you'll have to have a DMV print out of your driving record, accidents tickets and other violations. Don't worry you'll be fine [emoji2369]

Still waiting as well. Should be next week if Deputy Pinder is correct. He has been great to work with!
