I interviewed on the 12th and still nothing. My guess is that haven't finished with the folks that interviewed earlier.

I wonder if its the sheriffs office or the physc eval folks causing this particular delay.

Yeah whatever it is that?s causing the delay hopefully gets fixed soon. Hopefully it?s not a misplaced paperwork that?ll push back our application.

My interview was a few days before yours and I have already completed both the psych exam and 1 on 1 interview.

That?s good to know, I?m still waiting. Check email on a daily.

Search your email and junk inboxes for the sender "LEPS". You absolutely should have received your psych testing invitation from them by now. My guess is you missed the email or it got filtered as spam. They only send it once.

I diligently check my spam folders for false positives. Exchange Message Trace tells me zero email from lepsinc.com has been sent to my organization.

From the outside looking in, it seems that the "process" is just thrown together and they're hoping it just works.

I would assume they are just overwhelmed. Perhaps they are only allocated X amount of hours a week to process applications? I certainly seems that way.

I haven't received any correspondence since my initial interview on April 12th in an early AM time slot.

From the outside looking in, it seems that the "process" is just thrown together and they're hoping it just works.

I would assume they are just overwhelmed. Perhaps they are only allocated X amount of hours a week to process applications? I certainly seems that way.

The psych evaluators are unable to confirm if they sent the report to the agency (Santa Clara county sheriffs office). This process is so screwed up. Perhaps by design??

The Psych evaluation was quick and smooth - in fact the Psychologist said " I will update the county with my report this afternoon" "You should move to the next step tomorrow" --
That was pushing three weeks ago.
The interview was 30 minutes -- moving to the 'next step' should take far less time -- IMHO
Has the term 'slow walk' been considered?

My records were not sent, even after completing the post interview questionaire. I found out after 3 weeks of constantly e-mailing them.

LEPS/PSSC couldn't find my records. Took them a few days to find it and send it.

Maybe another month or two until SCC confirms receipt. Slow walk indeed.

Im surprised you guys even get responses from the SCSO.

whenever i had a long wait i'd try calling, which went straight to a full voicemail so you can't leave anything

emails also never get responded to either...

i get they must be swamped but they should have statuses of people more up-to-date so people arent nagging them all the time.

i'm only a 'few days' behind the first initial people..and they seem to have gotten very quick responses in their steps... where-as mine have taken a few days to weeks to progress thru each step.

Dude, same boat! I even sent them an email asking about progress right around the same time when you posted here. Still nothing. So confused. They were pretty responsive a week ago. I guess I need to take some patience pills.
