I'm thinking the same thing. I can imagine the Sheriff's Office is running around crazy with what they have going on with a new boss (yet to be determined) coming in, and now a CCW process that can't just be brushed off and ignored.
There are going to be hoops, and I want those hoops defined so I can jump through them.

I already ran down the entire application and I've got NOT A THING that will hold up anything. It only goes back 5 years for anything so that's even better (having been at the same residence longer than that).
I just need to jump through the ambiguous hoops (as I suspect just about everyone here is in the same boat).
There's also a "psychological" requirement as well, which I'm curious about too. Again, not too terribly concerned, but when, where and how much cost and time will be burnt up spending on that hoop is an unknown as well.
