    I believe Sheriff Moore interviews all applicants in person. Will be sure to ask him about AB 1134 and when to apply for renewal...

    Got the call yesterday that I was approved pending an interview with Sheriff Moore next week. Will be sure to post an update. Applied 12/1/14.

I was also told I would need it in writing from the boss that I could not carry during work hours. If it is in your company policy that it's ok to carry you would also need a letter of approval from the boss.

    Still, if your employer does not allow carry at work, don't carry at work. Or if you do then they fire you. It is not their business to sign off on your CCW application and not the Countiy's right to ask them to do so.

    Normally they are work related. If your company wont sign off on you carrying a firearm then you would be restricted from carrying while at work.

    You mention restrictions, what sort of restrictions could they impose? Are some people getting some kind of restriction?

    Finally got my permit this morning. No restrictions. First applied 10/06/2014.

    Also, if you are including a gun you just purchased (less than 2 months), be sure to bring your DROS paperwork as they do instant checks if the guns are registered under your name. A friend who I came with had this situation where the new gun is not showing up in the DOJ database yet. Luckily the purchase receipt with the SN was still in his wallet and used that. Othewise he had o come back to add the new gun and pay $10. They said it takes up to 2 months for the info to show up at DOJ.
